Grandmother bites off tongue of rapist as he tried to kiss her by force

A man lost a piece of his tongue after he tried to kiss a woman while raping her.

The 30-year-old man tried to kiss his 75-year-old victim early Saturday morning.

The woman was on her way home from Tsomo, Eastern Cape in South Africa, when she was attacked. The thug raped and beat her, but she got her revenge when he tried to kiss her.

The grandmother tried to fight off her attacker, but was unsuccessful. However, the woman bit down hard and took off a piece of his tongue.

The distraught rapist ran away, leaving the portion of the tongue behind.

The woman went to police and handed over the tongue as evidence. Police began an investigation into the incident.

The officers went to hospitals and clinics around the area to see if the suspect had sought medical attention for his injury.

Police arrested the suspect when they found him on his way to a local clinic. Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Namhla Mdleleni confirmed the incident.

“The suspect appeared in Tsomo Magistrate’s Court on charges of assault and rape.The tongue is being kept at the morgue for further investigation,” the spokesperson said.
