A woman was arrested after a fight over who gets to use a blanket, turned violent.
20-year-old Emma Campbell of Florida, was arrested after she used her fingernails to scratch her boyfriend of three years.
A neighbor called police after hearing the couple argue for about 15 minutes. Police noted that Alexander McCall, had scratch marks all over his body.
Campbell was accused of scratching McCall, during an argument over who could use the bed cover. They also had a disagreement over the air condition temperature.
Campbell claimed that she was also attacked by McCall, but police said that she had no injuries.
Campbell was charged with battery causing bodily harm after leaving several long and deep scratches on her boyfriend’s body.
Campbell was later released from the Volusia County Jail, on her own recognizance. The couple reportedly broke up after the domestic violence incident.
