Police have arrested a man after he was caught shoplifting underwear.
Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle, was arrested on Monday night, after the Frisco Police were called.
Randle was accused of stealing a bottle of cologne and a package of underwear from the Dillard’s department store at the Stonebriar Mall.
Randle, 22, was arrested and charged with misdemeanor theft. He was released early Tuesday, after posting $350 bail, police said.
Officers were called to the department store about 8:15 p.m. after loss prevention employees detained Randle at the mall, Frisco Police spokesperson Chad LaPrelle said.
Police said that Randle tried to steal a package of two Polo underwear worth $39.50 and a bottle of Gucci Guilty Black cologne valued at $84.
According to his arrest report, Randle, who has a base salary of $495,000 for this season, said that he did not pay because he had no time to do so.
According to the police report, the robbery was captured on surveillance video. It shows Randle dropping a package of underwear in a Dillard’s bag, which he had from a previous purchase, according to police.
