(Scroll down for video) Parents are outraged over a teacher’s treatment of a young child.
Three teachers in Massachusetts, were suspended from a nursery in Framingham, for hanging a child on a doorknob by a shirt.
The incident occurred at the KinderCare daycare center.
Police said that workers at the KinderCare placed the 20-month-old child next to the door and hanged him by his shirt on the door knob while the other employees took photos.
A parent who witnessed the incident, reported it to school officials. Police said that the child was not wounded.
Knowledge Universe, KinderCare’s parent company, released a statement saying: “What occurred was completely inappropriate and out of line with the standard of care we provide to families and the children entrusted to our care every day.”
“As we move forward, we will do everything in our power, including retraining all staff members, to ensure that something like this never happens again,” the company added.
The teachers were fired from the school and officials are investigating the incident. The teachers may face charges of child abuse.
