Neighbors said that they heard the woman crying for help during the night, and found the woman stuck inside the chimney.

Firefighters took apart the chimney brick by brick, and then poured dish soap to free the woman who became stuck while trying to rob the house in California.

30-year-old Genoveva Nunez-Figueroa attempted to get into the two-story house in Thousand Oaks early Sunday morning, but became stuck inside the chimney.

The male homeowner, who was identified as Lawrence, said that he met Nunez-Figueroa online, and the two dated for a short time before he broke off the relationship.

Lawrence was not home at the time. A neighbor alerted him to the situation, and he returned home.

After being freed, Nunez-Figueroa was taken to a hospital for observation before being arrested for illegal entry and giving false information to an officer.
