A man was arrested after he took a taxi to find a bus driver, who drove off from a stop too quickly.

The man of Chongqing, China, was arrested after he slapped the bus driver, saying that the driver drove off before he had the opportunity to get onto the bus.

The attacker, who was identified as Sun, tried catching the bus with his friends at the Wubanqiao stop around 2:30 p.m.

However, when he reached the bus stop, the bus driver pulled away. The angry man hopped into a taxi and chased the bus to the next stop. He then entered the bus and slapped the driver, named Lin, in the face.

Lin dodged another slap before calling the police. “I had no idea what had happened. I could smell alcohol on his breath,” Lin said.

The driver was hospitalized for three days after complaining of dizziness and other injuries as a result of the attack.

After the police investigation and a review of surveillance videos, police said that Lin followed the rules and protocols.

Lin filed a lawsuit after which a court ordered Sun to pay the driver about 4,300 yuan (about $700) in medical expenses and lost wages.
