(Scroll down for video) A teenage boy was shot and killed by his neighbor, who was throwing a tantrum.
13-year-old Kobe Jones of Gary, Indiana, was fatally shot by a neighbor, who was enraged when the teen laughed at him when the man discovered that his house had been broken into.
Lt. Thomas Pawlak said that Jones was pronounced dead on Friday night at the scene, as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.
Jones was shot nine times after he laughed as his neighbor began shouting in anger outside his home, which was broken into earlier that day.
The house was broken into about 12:30 p.m. When the shooter and his girlfriend returned home five hours later, they were visibly upset about the robbery.
He became even more enraged when the teen began laughing at his outbursts. After shooting Jones, the man and his girlfriend fled the scene in a car, but returned two hours later, and were arrested.
