A man in New Zealand, was seen riding on top of a car in order to keep his fridge from falling off the roof, according to photos posted on Facebook.

22-year-old Daniel Jackson of West Auckland, said that when he couldn’t find rope to secure the fridge on top of his car, he decided to secure it with his body.

Jackson said that he was unsure who took the photo of the incident, which was posted to Facebook on Saturday. Jackson saw the fridge on the side of a road, and he decided to take it home.

Jackson initially used the fridge for his beer, but he gave it away to a person in need. While some people on Facebook seemed impressed, others commented that Jackson was stupid for risking his life.

“Where is your seat belt?” Andrea Mary Walsh asked.

“People are quite correct in pointing out the flaw. It’s a car. People die from it, because of it, and it will kill you if you’re being dumb. This is dumb. Glad you all made it home safe and sound. Just get some rope next time,” Kaif Hameed said.
