A man of the United Kingdom, was sentenced to 20 years behind bars after raping two strangers in one night.
35-year-old Louis Thomas, who is unemployed, raped a man and a woman on the same night.
Thomas, who lives in the Lower Rock Gardens, Brighton, approached a homeless woman in her thirties on Sunday night, and asked her to come to his home.
She was with friends, but Thomas persuaded her to come with him, offering her a place to shower and change.
When they arrived at his house, he raped her. When he finally allowed her to leave, Thomas went back out to look for another victim.
He confronted a 21-year-old man from Brighton, who was walking home alone. Thomas followed him before dragging the man into his house while threatening him with a gun.
When he was done, Thomas forced his victim to a nearby ATM to withdraw money. He also stole his phone. The victim immediately went to the police station where he reported what had happened.
Thomas was found guilty of two rapes and robbery.
After the trial at the Hove Crown Court, Judge David Rennie said that Thomas was a “vicious and sadistic individual,” and sentenced him to 20 years prison.
