(Scroll down for video) A police officer was suspended after he demanded to smell the socks and underwear of a woman, police in Texas said.

A spokesperson for a Houston school district, said that it has suspended the police officer, who prosecutors said demanded to smell the socks and underwear from the woman he pulled over.

The Cypress-Fairbanks School District said that the officer has been placed on administrative leave on Monday.

School district leaders said that they are shocked by the allegations against 26-year-old Patrick Quinn, who has been charged with a misdemeanor.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office said that the woman filed a complaint after Quinn stopped her car around 3:00 a.m., and said that he found a marijuana grinder in the car.

Quinn said that he would let her go if she let him lick and smell her feet. Then he asked for a piece of her underwear. The woman gave the officer what he wanted, and the officer let her go.
