Two members of an anti-violence group in Pennsylvania, were arrested by police after beating their roommate unconscious.
Police arrested Emanuel Velez and Nikole Ardeno, for punching and kicking 26-year-old Joshua Magraff. The two suspects are active members of the anti violence group. Ardeno took part of a peaceful rally the day before her arrest.
Magraff had been seriously injured and is in critical condition. The beating took place in Washington, just before 4:30 p.m.
Police said that the two kicked the victim while he was laying unconscious in the street. Ardeno and Velez were arrested shortly thereafter.
When police arrested the woman, she was wearing a “stop the violence” t-shirt.
Investigators believe that the two attacked Magraff after he decided to move out of their apartment and he collected his belongings. The two claimed that Magraff took some of their belongings as well.
