A 41-year-old man of China, received the death penalty after he killed a toddler over a parking dispute.

The incident occurred in Beijing.

The incident began when Han Lei, was sitting in the passenger seat of a car. His friend was trying to park his car near a bus stop in the Daxing District.

However, at that moment a woman stopped in that space to check on her 2-year-old girl, who was in her carriage. Lei became angry because the woman did not move out of the way.

He got out of the car and attacked the woman before grabbing the two-year-old girl from her stroller and threw her to the ground.

Lei fled the scene, but was found and arrested inside a spa where he was being treated with a message.

The child was severely injured and was transferred to a hospital. Doctors ordered the child be transferred to another hospital due to the severity of her injuries.

Sadly, the child died before reaching the second hospital.
In court, Lei claimed that he was drunk at the time of the incident.

Lei was given the death penalty after the Beijing No. 1 Intermediate People’s Court, found him guilty of murder.
He had appealed, but it was rejected by the Beijing Higher People’s Court.

He was executed this week.
