Woman run over by pet dog driving her car

A woman of Australia, suffered serious injuries after her pet dog ran her over with a car.

The incident unfolded when the 50-year-old woman of Colac, returned to her car after walking her three dogs outside.

She put one dog in the passenger seat and two dogs in the back.

Before she could sit in the driver’s seat, one of the dogs released the brake, causing the car to roll while her arm was caught in the door.

The woman was dragged alongside the car until she fell and the car ran over the top of her body. She suffered extensive injuries to her back, neck, shoulders and left hip.

The woman filed a complaint with the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) for compensation. The woman received an offer of $143,590 in addition to medical expenses and secured income.
