(Scroll down for video) A designer has created baby toys that can automatically take selfies and upload the photos to social media sites.
The new set of interactive plush toys were designed to allow babies and toddlers to upload photos, videos, locations and status updates to social media sites without having to know how to use a computer.
The New Born Fame Project was created by Laura Cornet, a graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands, in response to the growing trend of baby pictures that parents upload to sites like Facebook and Twitter.
“The toys can also be used as a monitor or intercom. It can be used for the development of a baby,” Cornet said. One of the toys is a mobile for the crib.
It comes with plush toys shaped as the Twitter and Facebook logos. Cornet also created a “selfie-ball camera.” The toy snaps and uploads pictures each time it gets rotated after being touched by a baby.
