(Scroll down for video) The son of a pastor was arrested and charged in two states for kidnapping and raping women.
Delvin Barnes is the son of a preacher, but he has a long criminal rap sheet.
Barnes was extradited to Virginia on Thursday, where he is wanted for abducting a 16-year-old girl.
The teenager managed to escape and told police that Barnes removed her clothes and raped her. He then dug a grave and asked the teen how she wanted to die.
Barnes poured bleach and gasoline on the girl and her clothes. While he was busy burning her clothes the girl ran for her life.
Barnes was finally tracked down and arrested in Maryland, where he was found with his kidnapped victim, 22-year-old Carlesha Freeland-Gaither.
She was abducted around 9:40 p.m. in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Barnes has a criminal record that goes back to 2001, when he was arrested and convicted of two counts of felony robbery.
He also served eight years in prison for “forcible sexual intercourse” with his estranged wife. He was accused of beating, choking and holding her captive overnight.
Barnes was convicted of aggravated assault and false imprisonment among other charges. He was also convicted of beating his estranged wife’s father and punching her mother in the face.
He was released from jail a year ago.
