(Scroll down for video) A woman won the largest payout as a result of filing a lawsuit in Texas history.

Rafael Robb, a former University of Pennsylvania economics professor who pleaded guilty to killing his estranged wife Ellen, was ordered to pay $124 million to his estranged daughter.

20-year-old Olivia Robb and her family members filed a civil lawsuit on behalf of the woman’s estate. A jury awarded her $124 million.

Olivia was only 12 years old when her mother was violently beaten by her dad with an exercise bar in his King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, home.

Rafael initially blamed the death on a home invasion. However, police did not believe him. He later pleaded guilty to murder and is now serving a 5 to 10 year prison sentence for the death of his wife.
