(Scroll down for video) A man became angry after his former girlfriend refused to have an abortion.

Lauren Oliver, 26, of the United Kingdom, was stabbed five times in the stomach by her former boyfriend, who works as a cage fighter, in an attempt to kill their unborn baby.

She was rushed to a hospital, where doctors performed a cesarean section. The baby was born alive six weeks before the due date. Baby Harper was delivered weighing just 4 pounds and 1 ounce.

Now, professional wrestler Nicholas Leaning, 28, was sentenced to 19 years in prison for the assault after a judge described him as a “ticking time bomb.”

Oliver said that Leaning was wearing his cage fighter mask when he punched her in the head and then stabbed her in the stomach several times.

“I begged him not to kill baby Harper, but he just kept stabbing me,” she said. “I was screaming ‘Please, Nick, please do not kill us.’ Then he stopped. He looked up and
stabbed me for the fifth time before he ran,” Oliver said.

Leaning had allegedly been cheating on Oliver with his former girlfriend, and when she told him she was pregnant the professional wrestler told her to get an abortion.

According to Oliver, he told her that he was going to deny that the child was his and he would kick it out of her if she did not get rid of it.

When she refused, he feared that he would be exposed as a cheater and launched his assault. Oliver had 46 staples on five external and seven internal wounds. The blade of the knife hit her uterus two times.

Leaning was acquitted of attempted murder, but convicted of wounding with intent and attempted child destruction at the Hull Crown Court.
