A Texas man was arrested and lost his job after he was seen sunbathing near a school.

Mayford Davis, 69, who worked as a bus driver, reportedly said that he is deficient in vitamin D, when he was found enjoying the sun without his clothes.

Even though sunbathing is not against the law, the man was arrested because of the place where he chose to get his sun tan.

About 12:45 p.m., a caller told a 911 dispatcher that he is seeing a man laying face down on the lawn behind the Tison Middle School, police said in a press release.

The officer who arrived at the scene, said that he saw Davis pulling up his shorts. According to police, Davis said that he had been looking for a secluded place to lay in the sun.

He said that he had not seen anyone on campus on Sunday afternoon, and therefore he thought it was not an issue.

A spokesperson for the Weatherford Independent School District, said that after the incident, Davis stopped driving the school bus and that he no longer transports children.

Davis was cited for disorderly conduct and indecent exposure.
