(Scroll down for video) Three people were jailed after killing women, cooking their bodies and baking them into pies.

The three were arrested in Garanhuns, Brazil, and police said that they confessed to the crimes.

Jorge Beltrao Negromonte da Silveira, his wife Isabel Cristina Pires, and his mistress Bruna Cristina Oliveira da Silva who lived with the couple, lured women to their home by promising them a job as a nanny.

The three cooked the bodies of the three women and baked them into pies, which they sold to their neighbors as well as to schools and hospitals, claiming the pies contained tuna and chicken.

The three suspects and a young child who lived with them, also ate the pies.

Police were alerted to the murders as the three tried to use a credit card from one of their victims. Some remains of the victims were found in the couple’s backyard.

Da Silveira was sentenced to 23 years in prison while his wife, Pires, and his mistress, da Silva, were sentenced to 20 years behind bars.
