Police are looking to arrest a woman on charges of eluding a police officer after allegedly guiding her dog to pee on women’s clothes at a store selling plus sizes, police in New Jersey said.

Toms River Police said that 35-year-old Theresa M. Tumbleson of Ocean County, managed to escape from officers who chased after her.

Tumbleson of Bowman Avenue, was identified by her physical description and license plate number on her white Chevy Malibu.

Employees of Lane Bryant, which is located at the Bey Lea Plaza shopping center, told police that about 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Tumbleson entered the store with her small dog and let it pee on 14 dresses and 11 pairs of pants, causing damage in excess of $2,000.

When she was asked to leave the store, she refused and became belligerent. Employees of the store, which carries plus size clothes for women, called the police.

When officers arrived, they tried to detain her, but she sped away, running several red lights as they were behind her with their lights and sirens.

Because the road was wet, officers abandoned the chase. Tumbleson is wanted and has been charged with eluding a police officer and obstructing law enforcement.

Her bail was set at $30,000.
