(Scroll down for video) A who woman tried to escape sex charges in Arizona, moved with her family to Hawaii.
The elementary school teacher was located and arrested in Hawaii, after being accused of having a sexual relationship with a student over six years ago, officials said.
45-year-old Deborah Nicholson Hoshiyama, continued to teach until her arrest.
She was arrested in her apartment by Honolulu Police and U.S. Marshals, according to authorities.
Hoshiyama is accused of having sex with a 14-year-old boy in Avondale, but fled to Hawaii before she could be arrested.
A grand jury indicted Hoshiyama on five counts of sexual conduct with a minor and issued an arrest warrant.
Recently, the woman bragged on Facebook, that she had received her teaching license in Hawaii, and was hired at a local school.
She began working at the Voyager Public Charter School in Honolulu, after the school vetted her through interviews and by checking references from three former employers in Arizona, principal Jeff Vilardi said.
