A man was arrested after admitting to killing his wife.

24-year-old Ge Yifeng of China, was arrested on charges of murder after killing his wife with a pair of scissors and a hammer.

Yifeng then sent the photos of the dead body to her friends and relatives as evidence that she was dead.

After Yifeng and his wife, surnamed Chen, 24, got married, Chen decided to live with her parents in Huangcun County, Anhui.

Two months into their marriage, things deteriorated. The couple got into an argument in their car and Yifeng stabbed Chen dozens of times with a pair of scissors. He also hit her with a hammer.

He then surrendered to police. Yifeng confessed to the crime, and said that he could not get along with his mother-in-law, who told him that he was not worthy of her daughter.

He added that he was extremely unhappy living with his wife’s family. Yifeng said that before they got married, they both agreed to move to Yantai, Shandong.

However, after their marriage, she suddenly changed her mind and wanted to go to Beijing, to live with her family.

Meanwhile, Yifeng was under a lot of stress at work since he had a five-hour commute every day. “I did not intend to kill her, but I wanted her to apologize to me,” Yifeng said.

After Yifeng killed Chen, he called her family and friends and told them what had happened. They did not believe him, so as evidence, he sent them photos of her body.

Chen’s father is seeking compensation of RMB 1.06 million (about $174,000), and he is demanding the death penalty for Yifeng.
