Pregnant woman cuts her boyfriend because he unplugged an air freshener

(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested on charges of assault after allegedly cutting her boyfriend with a knife because he unplugged an air freshener, police in Ohio said.

Dayton Police said that the victim told investigators that the mother of his unborn child cut him with a knife after he disconnected a Glade plug-in air freshener.

He said that he needed the outlet to plug in his Xbox. The incident unfolded on Friday night in the 2600 block of North Gettysburg Avenue.

21-year-old Tanaijah Montra Burns, who is eight months pregnant, was arrested on suspicion of criminal assault. The 23-year-old victim told police that the woman held a steak knife to his face and attacked him.

The victim suffered additional injuries while wrestling the knife away from his girlfriend. He refused medical treatment for several cuts on his hands and arms.

The suspect was taken to a hospital, where doctors confirmed that the unborn baby was in good health.
