An immigration consultant was arrested on charges of sexual assault after allegedly asking a woman for sexual favors and sexually assaulting her, police in Canada said.
The Toronto Police Service said that on Saturday, approximately 8:00 p.m., a woman, 23, who recently arrived to Canada, attended the office of the immigration consultant located at 1110 Finch Avenue West, unit 806, for professional services.
However, she was propositioned for sexual favors and sexually assaulted. The victim fled the office at her first opportunity.
Now, police have arrested 56-year-old Razgar Hasan of Toronto, for the crimes allegedly committed against the vulnerable woman.
He has been charged with sexual assault and breach of trust.
Hasan’s business is focused on assisting those from Middle Eastern countries with immigration matters and obtaining their status in Canada.
Police believe that there may be more victims.
