(Scroll down for video) An armed robber was seen politely asking for cash and then apologizing for scaring the female cashier.

The armed robber of Arkansas, pointed a gun at the young woman, and ordered her to hand over the cash.

The confused and scared woman attempted to walk away, but the armed man pointed the gun at her and ordered her to hand over the money.

The incident unfolded at the Russellville tobacco store. Two customers and a female employee were in the store at the time.

The man allowed the customers to leave the store saying:
“I do not want your money.” The suspect showed them the door.

He wanted the money from the store, saying “insurance will cover that.”

While demanding the money, the armed robber encouraged the employee to hurry up. “Come on, please,” he said according to surveillance video published by investigators in an effort to catch the robber.

The cashier placed the cash on the counter, but burst into tears at the sight of the big gun.

Her tears touched the robber and he assured the woman that he will not hurt her. He then unleashed what could have been a sincere apology for the whole ordeal that lasted less than a minute.

“I’m sorry I scared you, ma’am. You hear me? Have a nice day,” he said as he fled with the money.

The suspect has not been captured, but was last seen wearing jeans and a camouflage jacket with his face covered by a white cloth. Police hope that someone will recognize his voice and turn him into police.
