Police arrested a man on charges of sexual assault after allegedly showing up at a woman’s home and sexually assaulting her, police in Canada said.
The Toronto Police Department said that a 21-year-old woman told police that she applied for a job online through Kijiji with a company called Corerite Salvage Logistics.
She agreed to meet a representative of the company at a local coffee shop .
However, it is alleged that the representative showed up at the woman’s home accompanied by another woman, and began engaging the woman in sexually inappropriate conversation.
The man is alleged to have sexually assaulted the job applicant.
In another incident, a 29-year-old woman who applied for a job online with the same company, is alleged to have also been sexually assaulted after being engaged in an inappropriate conversation.
41-year-old Randy Purves was charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of committing an indecent act.
