A man was sentenced to life in prison for killing his gorgeous girlfriend.
The incident began as an argument over a financial matter between the man and his much younger girlfriend, but it quickly turned violent.
44-year-old Alejandro Reynoso of Argentina, killed 22-year-old Solange Aguirre, who is the mother of his two children.
He then beheaded and dismembered her so that she cannot be identified if she was ever found. However, he forgot that she had a specific tattoo on her back, which helped police identify her body.
According to police, Aguirre went to visit Reynoso, to discuss child support payments, but her former boyfriend erupted in anger and killed her.
The man then took some of the body parts, traveled to a small island called Entre Rios Delta, and buried them.
A fisherman who saw Reynoso from afar digging a hole and burying something, alerted police.
The authorities conducted an investigation and discovered the bag with the body parts.
Police spokesperson Antigono Robles told a court that it was impossible to determine the identity of the body by the standard method of fingerprints.
However, they found a tattoo on the body that was two initials representing Aguirre’s two children, Andrea and Luigi.
Reynoso apparently missed this small but meaningful tattoo, and this helped police link the body to the woman whose family had filed a missing persons report.
Now, two years after the murder, he was found guilty and was sentenced to life in prison.
