A police officer is under investigation after pulling over a school bus with light and sirens because his child forget to take along his lunch, police in Illinois said.
The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said that Lt. Brian Keller, is under investigation after allegedly stopping the full bus of school students to provide lunch for his child.
Keller used his unmarked black Dodge Charger and emergency lights to stop the bus. The incident occurred on Tuesday just after 7:00 a.m. in Johnsburg, which is outside the officer’s jurisdiction.
According to a complaint filed by the bus driver, Keller left his vehicle, came onto the bus, gave lunch to his child and then told the him he could continue on his way.
The bus was headed to the Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock, and was stopped about 9 miles from the school.
