An elderly man who was looking forward to his fantasy date with 17-year-old twin sisters, ended up being tied up and robbed, police in New York said.

The New York Police Department said that 84-year-old Paul Aronson, met the 17-year-old twin sisters online before being tied to a coffee table and having his wallet stolen.

According to the police investigation, after dinner with the teenagers, Aronson invited them to his four-story Manhattan townhouse.

Shaina and Shalaine Foster tied him up and took $470 in cash. They also took his credit cards. Aronson laid on the floor of his living room for 20 hours, until he was found by a neighbor.

Investigators said that the girls believed that Aronson would be too embarrassed to call the police. Shaina and Shalaine Foster were charged with kidnapping, robbery and theft.

They face up to 15 years in prison if convicted. Aronson met the girls through a website that promotes “sugar babies.”
