(Scroll down for video) A woman was arrested on charges of deprivation of a minor after being found walking to McDonald’s while high on drugs, police in Georgia said.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said that 25-year-old Lacey Cadle, was walking with her 6-year-old daughter on Kissingbower Road Tuesday, when an officer noticed that she was high on methamphetamine.
When the officer spoke with Cadle, she said that she was taking her daughter to McDonald’s to get something to eat. The officer later found out that the child had not eaten in five days.
When the officer asked Cadle why her daughter was not in school, she said that her daughter was sick and needed medical attention.
Cadle admitted to abusing methamphetamine at the home of her boyfriend. The officer also noticed that the child was dirty, had a large cut on her chin and most of her teeth were missing.
Paramedics who arrived at the scene, discovered that the child had a fever, high heart rate and appeared to be malnourished.
The officer went to Cadle’s home, where he found a tube used for methamphetamine and a marijuana pipe on a bedside table.
Cadle was charged with deprivation of a minor. Her daughter was treated at a hospital and has been placed in a safe home.
