(Scroll down for video) A magician got himself out of a ticket by entertaining police officers at a traffic stop.

Steven Brundage was pulled over by police after he was caught driving over the speed limit. The incident unfolded after he left a party in New York City, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The magician managed to avoid receiving a speeding ticket after showing the police officers tricks with a Rubik’s Cube.

Brundage admitted that he was traveling at 42 miles per hour in a 30 mile-per-hour zone at 3:00 a.m.

A ticket seemed certain. However, the officers allowed him to perform a magic trick to get out of the ticket.

Brundage posted the clip of the traffic stop on YouTube, which showed him performing the impressive tricks for the officers.

The magician said that one of the officers spotted cards in his car and asked what he was doing with it. That is when Brundage revealed that he was a magician.

The officers asked him to perform a trick and if impressed, he would be allowed to go free.

Brundage completed the Rubik’s Cube in an impressive 20 seconds. He then showed the officers two more tricks. He was able to get the Rubik’s Cube in order in just one second.

“I’m happy to say that I left without a ticket,” Brundage said.
