Two teen girls were arrested on charges of murder after allegedly killing a woman in her own home, police in the United Kingdom said.

Teeside Police said that the two girls, aged 13 and 14, beat 39-year-old Angela Wrightson, who had problems with alcohol, until she died.

Wrightson was found dead at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. She died of blood loss and extensive lesions. Neighbors told police that the woman had been terrorized by local teenagers who had broken into her home in the past.

Neighbors also said that teens broke into the home in the past in order to steal alcohol. Wrightson, who lived on Stephen Street in Hartlepool, was attacked numerous times after refusing to give the teens alcohol.

Wrightson’s problem with alcohol was well known to police as she regularly got into trouble as a result of her drinking. Several months ago, she was found guilty of making a series of prank police calls while intoxicated.

Wrightson was also warned that she will face a 200 pound ($312) fine if she was caught trying to buy alcohol anywhere in England or Wales.

The teens will be brought before the Hartlepool Magistrate’s Court for bail hearings.
