According to video surveillance footage of the store in Vladivostok, Russia, the cat ate and spoiled seafood worth about 60,000 rubles ($1,100), on Thursday.

The cat ate vacuum packed smoked fish and squid, a spokesperson for the supermarket, which is located at the airport, said.

The owner of the supermarket, Irina Kuzmina, said that the cat not only munched on flounder, sole and flatfish, but also ripped packages with dried octopus and other seafood delicacies.
