A new lesbian dating app was released that will allow consumers to find mates through GPS technology.
“Scissr” was designed by lesbians for lesbians, and is a perfect app for everyone, the company states on its website.
36-year-old Allison Ullrich, the creator of the app, said that the free service is like “Grindr,” only classier. Ullrich said that she created the app after finding it difficult to use other dating apps.
Ullrich said that lesbians have a hard time finding like-minded women as there is no area where lesbians live together. Ullrich said that she was confident that the millions of lesbians in the U.S., would be interested in using Scissr.
“Finally. It’s time for a lesbian dating app where women can connect, share and chat about their local cultural interests and relationship needs. Women wanting romance, a date, conversation or networking can download the mobile app for free. Designed by lesbians for lesbians desiring to increase their connections with other amazing women. Scissr is tailor made for all,” the company wrote on its website.
