Man collapses and dies in store minutes after biting dog

(Scroll down for video) A man mysteriously died minutes after biting a dog, police in the United Kingdom said.

Police in Cambridge, said that the man bit the dog during an altercation before running into a convenience store, where he died.

The 45-year-old man bit a Staffordshire bull terrier, near the One Stop on Ditton Lane. The man, who lived in the area, had been involved in an altercation with another 45-year-old man near Dudley Road.

It was there that he bit the dog before running into the convenience store, where he died.

Police officers were called to the scene about 6:30 a.m. on Monday, and paramedics also arrived on reports of a man having a heart attack.

The owner of the dog was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, but has been released without charges. A coroner at the Peterborough City Hospital, said that the cause of the man’s death is unknown.

Other tests are now being conducted, and the death is being treated as unexplained.
