(Scroll down for video) A mother spoke out to defend herself for choking a little boy and throwing him to the ground.
28-year-old Deloris Sandra Rivera of Orlando, Florida, said that her daughter had been bullied for two years and the school did nothing to help.
One day, when the mother heard that the boy cursed and insult her daughter after school, she confronted the boy, pushed him off his bike and placed him in a chokehold.
The mother then ordered the boy to get into her car and show him where he lived so she can discuss the issue with his mother.
Rivera was arrested on charges of kidnapping and battery after the boy told police that she threatened to kill him and punched him in the head.
The 11-year-old boy said that Rivera warned him:
“If you call my daughter [expletive] again I’m going to choke you to death,” according to the police report.
Rivera said that the boy grabbed her daughter’s backpack and insulted her. Rivera told police that her daughter had been abused by the child before and school officials did not act on her complaints.
Police said Rivera’s attack on the boy was caught on camera. She told an officer that she had no intention of harming the child.
