Psychologist kills her husband and scatters his remains on street for kids to find

(Scroll down for video) Police in Mexico, were called after children found a decapitated head while playing in a park.

Maria Alejandra Lafuente Caso, 40, of Mexico City, who works as a psychologist, was arrested after being accused of severing the body of her husband.

She placed his remains in plastic bags and scattered the parts in different on streets in the city. Police found traces of blood and limbs in the couple’s bathtub and carpets.

Caso claimed that her husband was abusive towards her, and claimed that she has a mental illness.

However, after an examination, a doctor ruled that she was fit to stand trial. It was revealed that the psychologist had a history of attempted murder as she tried to kill a former partner.

According to the records, in 2011, she was arrested for attempted murder against her former partner, who she tried to kill with a knife.

Investigators said that during an argument, Caso stabbed her partner in the abdomen, but he survived and reported the assault.

On that occasion, Caso was acquitted by a criminal court, claiming self-defense, saying that the man beat her.

This time, Casco used a chainsaw to kill her current husband Alan Carrera Cuellar, and tried to use the same defense, claiming her husband was abusive towards her and that she is mentally ill.
