An elderly priest was arrested, charged and convicted of sexual assault after sexually assaulting numerous teen boys, prosecutors in the United Kingdom said.
Now, the Reading Crown Court sentenced 75-year-old Michael Feben of Medina Avenue, Newport, Isle of Wight, to six years in prison after pleading guilty to child sex offenses committed when he was a priest.
Feben pleaded guilty to six offenses relating to three victims, who were all boys aged between 11 and 13 when the offenses were committed in Windsor, Bournemouth, and the Isle of Wight.
Feben was convicted of indecent assault on a male at the St. Edwards Church, located on Alma Road. He was also convicted of sexually assaulting a boy at the St. Edwards Church.
Additionally, the priest committed indecent assault on a male at a private home in the Isle Of Wight, as well as at the Annunciation Church in Charminster, Bournemouth.
Feben was also ordered to register as a sex offender, which prohibits him from having unsupervised contact with males under 18 years old.
