A group of Macy’s employees were left disgusted after trying to detain a female shoplifter, police in Florida said.

Fort Lauderdale Police said that 32-year-old Marisol Toribio, was arrested on Tuesday, after being accused of using her feces as a weapon.

According to the police investigation, Toribio was caught stealing from the Macy’s store by loss prevention employees.

When the employees began to question her, she reached into her pants, pulled some feces and smeared it on the faces of the loss prevention personnel.

Toribio was arrested and charged with theft and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

In October, a teen was arrested on charges of assault after paying a restaurant bill with cash that was contaminated with his feces, police in Indiana said.

Muncie Police said that the teen was charged with battery by bodily waste after using the contaminated cash to pay for his meal at Brothers Bar and Grill on Sunday.

Police were called to the restaurant that recently opened shortly after 12:00 p.m., on reports of a group of young men who were causing trouble.

The 17-year-old boy, who was part of that group, allegedly went to the bathroom, defecated and cleaned himself with the money.

He then placed the cash in the appropriate folder for payment. The server touched the contaminated money before realizing what was on it.

Police do not know why the teen smeared feces on the money. The teenager was taken to a juvenile detention center.
