(Scroll down for video) Passengers on a commercial flight freaked out after they noticed a mouse running around in the aisles, a spokesperson for Qatar Airways said.

The Qatar Airways flight from Madrid, Spain, to Doha, Qatar, was delayed for more than six hours after the mouse was discovered in the passenger cabin, causing passengers to freak out.

The mouse was first seen running down the aisles while landing.

After the passengers left the entire cabin had to be checked and cleaned, causing a delay of more than six hours for passengers waiting at the Adolfo Suarez Barajas airport in Madrid, waiting to board the plane headed for Doha.

There were long lines at the Qatar Airways customer service counter after many passengers lost their connecting flights headed for Thailand, Singapore, and Indonesia.

The company has said that it will pay any expenses incurred as a result of the delay. The mouse was eventually found dead in the passenger cabin, and it was removed from the plane.
