Arab woman convicted of killing 75-year-old Jewish woman in Yafo claims husband forced her

A woman was arrested, charged and convicted of murder after being accused of killing an elderly Jewish woman, according to court proceedings in Israel.

The Tel Aviv District Attorney’s Office said that a woman, who was born in Tel-Aviv Yafo, and is married to a Palestinian man from the Palestinian controlled West Bank city of Qalqilya, was convicted of killing 75-year-old Shoshana Levi. The defendant and the victim lived in the same building.

Tel Aviv Police said that the woman, 24, and her husband, 25, broke into Levi’s apartment, threw her to the ground, dragged her into another room and stuffed her mouth with a pair pants.

They tied her hands and legs, pulled off a gold chain she was wearing and took anything of value from her apartment.

The medical examiner determined that Levi died of asphyxia.

Police found DNA evidence in the apartment that led them to the suspects.

The woman told the court that her husband forced her to kill Levi. The judge however, rejected her claim, saying there was overwhelming evidence that she voluntarily committed the crime.

Gaza boy, 16, fatally shot after throwing stones at Israeli soldiers

A teen terrorist boy is dead after being shot while throwing stones at Israeli soldiers, according to a statement released by the Israeli military.

Adnan Abu Khater, 16, was killed on Thursday, near the border fence in the northern Gaza Strip.

A spokesperson for the emergency services in Gaza said in a statement that Khater died of his wounds after soldiers shot him in the leg east of Jabaliya.

The Israeli army said that soldiers opened fire to disperse violent demonstrators, who threw stones at soldiers. The rioters also rolled burning tires at the soldiers.

"During attempts to disperse the protesters, soldiers shot at the legs of some of the main instigators,” an Israeli military spokesperson said.

Flatbush man fatally shot in the back of the head while standing outside store

A Flatbush area man is dead after he was shot while standing outside a store on Saturday, according to police reports in New York.

Brooklyn Police said that an executioner killed a 34-year-old man in what seemed to be a targeted killing.

Police said that the unidentified victim was standing outside a shop on Rockaway Parkway near Rutland Road in East Flatbush, just before 1:15 p.m., when a black man wearing a dark coat, gray hoodie and blue jeans, approached and blasted away, shooting his victim in the back of the head.

The gunman fled from the scene.

Paramedics who arrived at the scene, transported the wounded man to Kings County Hospital in critical condition. Doctors were unable to save the man.

The victim died about two hours after being shot.

The reason behind the attack was not revealed. Police launched an investigation, but so far, no arrests have been made.

Brooklyn man charged with hate crimes after knocking out Jewish women

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested and charged with assault as a hate crime after knocking out several Jewish women, according to police reports in New York.

Brooklyn Police said that a 35-year-old local man has been charged with hate crimes in connection with seven "Knockout Game" attacks including attacks on two elderly women and a mother walking with her daughter.

Barry Baldwin was charged with six counts of assault as a hate crime, six counts of aggravated harassment as a hate crime and other crimes in a series of attacks in the predominantly Jewish section of Brooklyn.

Baldwin allegedly struck a 78-year-old woman, who was pushing a stroller, as part of the "Knockout Game," where people try to beat a random stranger unconscious with a single blow. The victim fell to the ground.

Baldwin also hit a 20-year-old woman in the back of the head.

Baldwin assaulted five more women, including a 33-year-old, who was walking with her young daughter, and another 78-year-old woman.

After the attack on the woman walking with her ​​7-year-old daughter in the Midwood section of Brooklyn, police released a sketch of the suspect.

The mother suffered minor injuries to her hands and knees. The suspect fled on foot.

Baldwin was charged after witnesses identified him in a police lineup.

Webb is accused of repeatedly raping and beating children while living in deplorable conditions.

Webb’s 9-year-old son told investigators that his mother repeatedly raped his 3-year-old twin sisters and his 8-year-old brother, while men and women watched, according to police reports.

Police also wrote that the boy told them that he saw his mother place foreign objects into the girl.

One of the 3-year-old girls corroborated the story of her brother.

Police said that people may have paid the mother to watch the abuse.

The mother denied the sex abuse allegations, but she did admit to selling drugs from the house, which is why people came in and out of her home.

Her four children were removed of her custody and are now living with their grandparents.

Police were called after two women got into a fight over three sex toys.

Lakenya Bristol , 32, of Florida, accused her former girlfriend of breaking her three favorite sex toys.

Police investigated Regina Watts, 37, when her former girlfriend called deputies to report that her personal sex toys had been beheaded, according to the Indian River County Sheriff's Office.

Bristol told police that she was in a relationship with Watts before she was arrested for domestic violence, three months before the incident.

When she was arrested, the dildos were in good condition. However, the next time she saw the toys, their heads were cut off.

Bristol told investigators that Watts "cut off the heads of her three favorite dildo sex toys."

She claimed that the toys were in the custody of Watts after she was taken to jail for domestic violence.

Deputies then spoke with Watts, who denied damaging any of the sex toys.

Watts went on to suggest that the dildos might have been damaged after Bristol’s belongings were removed from her home after the arrest.

The case was subsequently closed for a lack of evidence.

“The Cyber Crimes Division kept an eye out for Beard after he posted several inappropriate comments on a social media site,” Keshia Guyll of the Benton County Sheriff’s Office said.

An undercover investigation discovered that he has been posting as a police officer, and exchanged text messages and photographs, which included a photo of his private part with an underage girl.

An officer posed as an underage girl and caught Beard stalking the “girl.” He was also caught being inappropriate toward the officer, whom he thought was a child.

Beard was arrested and charged with Internet stalking of a child. He may also face charges of impersonating a police officer.

Man kills brother then fatally shoots himself in front of his 9 children during drunken fight

Randall Grigg Jr., 33, of Coweta, Oklahoma, killed his brother before turning the gun on himself on Saturday, in front of his wife and nine children.

Grigg and his brother, Jeremiah Roberts, 32, were drinking when they got into a heated argument.

Grigg grabbed a rifle and shot his brother several times before turning the gun on himself, according to the Wagoner County Sheriff Bob Colbert.

Grigg reportedly shot himself in front of his wife and nine children, who are between the ages of 1 to 14, 6 of which are his biological children.

The shooting reportedly took place in the family's trailer, which has only two rooms.

Roberts was pronounced dead at the scene while Grigg was taken to a hospital in Tulsa, where he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities said that a mental health professional will work with the wife and children, who witnessed the shooting.

Rescuers have recovered the body of Darren Bull, 34, who fell to his death trying to help his girlfriend after she became entangled in the ropes midway through the cliff.

Katherine Donohue, who is in her 20s, and her boyfriend Bull, had been abseiling in the Blue Mountains in Sydney, Australia, on Saturday, when she became entangled in her ropes and was unable to continue.

Inspector Ken Evans said that Bull tried to help her, before falling off the cliff.

Donohue called for help several times before a tourist finally heard her screams and alerted police.

A team of rescuers, including two helicopters, responded.

Rescuers reached the woman first. They confirmed that she was unharmed before trying to save her boyfriend.

Sadly, the man was found dead at the bottom of the cliff.

United Airlines cancels flight because a dirty diaper was flushed down the toilet

Rick Milligan of Bay Village, was with his wife and two children in Phoenix. On Monday, their return flight was canceled after it was delayed for several hours. According to Milligan, they were told that a dirty diaper was flushed down the toilet.

"I do not think anyone would be so ignorant that they would put a diaper in the toilet of an airplane," Greta Bonne of Chagrin Falls said.

A spokesperson for United Airlines could not confirm how many people were affected by delays and cancellations, but said that the bathroom was unusable and the plane could not fly as scheduled.

Most passengers were rebooked on other flights.
The United Airlines spokesperson said that such problems are not a common occurrence.

Colorado teacher, 58, caught asking students for topless photos

Randy Majors, 58, of Fruita, Colorado, is facing charges after he was caught asking students to send him topless pictures of themselves.

According to an arrest affidavit, the mother of one student was going through her 15-year-old daughter’s Facebook page, and found a message from her teacher.

The message was not school related. Shockingly, the teacher asked the 15-year-old girl to send him nude photos of herself. He also warned the girl not to tell anyone about his request.

When authorities questioned Majors, he allegedly admitted that he had asked a couple of girls for indecent photos.

Police confiscated his computer, where they found inappropriate conversations between Majors and several girls between 15 and 17-years-old.

At least one underage girl sent Majors an inappropriate photo of herself.

Majors faces 3 counts of sexual exploitation of a child and 5 counts of attempted sexual exploitation of a child.

He is being held on $20,000 bail.

12-year-old Dou of Henan, China, required eye surgery after being subjected to a beating by his classmates.

This was all done under the guidance of their teacher, Deng Baozhen, because the boy did not finish his homework.

"Whoever slaps him the hardest will get a prize," Baozhen told his students.

After enduring the pain and humiliation of being slapped by his classmates, the teacher then made ​​the boy do push-ups.

Later that night, when the 12-year-old boy realized that he could not see well with his left eye, he told his mother about the incident.

Dou’s mother, Wang, called the school principal, who promised to take care of the situation.

Doctors performed surgery on the child’s left eye, but are unsure if the boy’s eyesight will return to the way it was.

Baozhen defended his actions by saying that punishing children helps them do well in class.

A man is lucky to be alive after police found him unresponsive in a car trunk, according to police reports in Spain.

Police in Spain said that they rescued a man, whose family locked him in the trunk of a car because he was drunk.

Police responded to an emergency call from a neighbor, who found the man, 24, unresponsive and wrapped in a blanket in the trunk of the car on Wednesday, in the Spanish island of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Paramedics determined that the man simply fainted.

When he regained consciousness, police said he told them he had a vague recollection of being put in the trunk of the car by his brother, cousin and another person.
