A boy was arrested after raping his mother in their home, police in the United Kingdom said.

It is alleged that the offense took place in their family home in Blackpool, over the weekend.

Although this is not the first time a man was arrested for raping his mother, this 14-year-old boy is said to be the youngest person to be charged with raping his own mother. The teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before District Judge Jeff Brailsford in the Blackpool Magistrate’s Court.

So far, the teenager was not granted bail. The judge remanded the him into custody. Today, children have easier access to porn, which then leads to young boys raping family members while trying to imitate what they see.

As we reported earlier, an investigation was launched after a young boy had access to hardcore porn at his school’s computer room.

The 12-year-old of Wales, United Kingdom, raped his younger sister while imitating the scenes he saw on porn videos, a court heard. The boy became addicted to hardcore porn after downloading them at school. He then imitated the scenes with his younger sister.

The boy admitted to three counts of raping his sister, who is 10-years-old, when he appeared before Newport Crown Court. The rape, which happened over the course of a year, took place in the house of a family member where the brother and sister shared a bedroom, Newport Crown Court heard.

Judge Thomas Crowther QC said that the case is a stark reminder that the Internet is not a babysitter, but needs constant adult supervision. "It is a sad fact that many kids his age have been exposed to adult pornography,” the judge added.

The 12-year-old was sentenced to three years in youth rehabilitation. He was ordered to register as a sex offender for two-and-a-half years.

The child will not be taken away from his parents, who were by his side in the courtroom. Officials have launched an investigation into how the child was able to access pornography on the school’s computer.

(Scroll down for video) A family filed a lawsuit against Petco, after their 10-year-old son died from a pet rat they bought at the Petco store.

The family of San Diego, California, was devastated when their son died of rat bite fever he contracted from a pet that was bought at the Petco store.

Aidan Pankey died a few hours after coming down with flu-like symptoms, just two weeks after purchasing a mate for his rat at the Carmel Mountain Petco. Medical examiners in San Diego County, ruled that his death was caused by streptobacillus moniliformis, or rat-bite fever, and now, his family wants unspecified damages from Petco, for failing to prevent his tragic death.

Aidan's grandmother Sharon Pankey, took the child to the Carmel Mountain Petco to buy him a second rat after he wanted his rat to mate and have babies, but that opportunity never came. Aidan Pankey went from an energetic young boy to his death bed in one day.

When he was feeling ill his family took him to the doctor, who said that he had the flu. Sadly, he died less than 48 hours later. The rat was sent for testing and it was confirmed to have the disease.

Carmel Mountain Petco reportedly buys its rodents from Barney's Pet Supply, a large wholesaler in Chino, California, and they expect that company to test the rats before selling them.

(Scroll down for video) A Japanese couple and their son were left traumatized on their first day in the United States.

The couple was driving their rented car in Utah, when an officer spotted them going only 37 miles per hour and swerving between lanes.

The officer turned his lights on and tried to pull them over. The couple had no idea what was happening so they began to speed up. They drove at about 75 miles per hour, leading the officer on a high speed chase.

Thinking that he was dealing with a drunk driver, the officer called for backup. Soon, there were three police cars in pursuit.

Other officers closed roads and set up tire spikes, a police spokesperson said. After going over the spikes, their car skidded and stopped.

Preparing for the worst, the officers approached the car with their guns drawn, and pulled the woman and the man out from the car. That was when they saw the couple’s 7-years-old son crying in the back seat.

The officers also learned that the family did not speak English. “The child was crying, and the parents looked nervous and confused,” the police spokesperson said.

“I think they were terrified,” he added.

Realizing they were dealing with language and cultural barriers, and not with a drunk driver or a fugitive, officials changed their strategy.

Officers consoled the child and then found an officer who spoke Japanese, so they could communicate with the couple through the phone. The woman said that she had no idea what she was supposed to do when the police officer turned on the lights and siren, so they hurried to get out of the way.

Thankfully, no one was injured and there was no major damage to the cars. Officer drove the couple to a motel so they could rest for the night and wished them a safe trip.

Authorities do not intend to press charges.
