Bujumbura Police said that an Italian man working in the country, has been formally arrested after police discovered 36 human skulls in his home while executing a search warrant.

Police confirmed on Sunday, that the discovery was made after searching the home of Giuseppe Favaro. Favaro has been in prison since October, after being caught trying to export two human skulls to Thailand. Three other accomplices have been arrested by the police.
