It happened last Wednesday at the intersection of Throop Avenue and Wallabout Street. Lippa Katz, 16, got hit in the knee by a boy brandishing a stick, while the Hasidic teenager tried to evade the group. The group also threw a rock through a window at a construction site.
The second incident occurred two days later, just around the corner on Union Street. A 9-year-old Hasidic boy was riding his bike when someone threw a stone that hit him in the head.
Residents said that they want to see the attackers arrested and charged. Police said that they have launched an investigation, but so far, no arrests have been made.
