(Scroll down for video) Members of the Hasidic community in Borough Park, are shaken after a vandal covered cars and buildings with anti-Semitic graffiti, police in New York said.
The crude anti-Semitic slogans were spray painted on at least 15 cars and 4 buildings, including a school.
All damaged cars and buildings are located in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn. Now, the hate crimes unit of the New York Police Department is investigating the vandalism.
Police first received a report of graffiti at 8:30 Saturday night. Police said that according to surveillance videos the suspect is a male, possibly Asian, and between 20 and 30 years old.
Three cars were attacked on Dahill Road and two cars were on 37th Street. There was also vandalism reported at a gas station at 38th Street and 14th Avenue.
The Bnos Zion of Bobov school, which is located on 14th Avenue and 50th Street, was also vandalized. One message read: “F*** you Jews,” while another message read: “Jews eat s***.”
A number of swastikas were also painted on cars and buildings. Council member David Greenfeld vowed that police will arrest the perpetrator and he will be dealt with a heavy hand.
