A Hamas spokesperson said that two men were executed after being accused of providing information to Israel.
The Gaza Interior Ministry spokesperson, Iyad al-Bozum said that the men, both in their 30s, had given information to Israel for nine years on Gaza fighters.
Al-Bozum said that both were killed on Wednesday afternoon, one by a firing squad and the other by hanging. The two men were identified as Z.R. and A.K.
The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights in Gaza, said that more than 150 people have been executed in the Palestinian territories over the past 20 years, the vast majority in Gaza, especially under the rule of Hamas. The Islamic militant group is in control of Gaza since 2007.
