(Scroll down for video) Israel has built a large temporary hospital on Gaza’s border in order to treat wounded Palestinians, the IDF Blog reported.

The IDF has opened the temporary hospital for Palestinians on the Israeli side of the Erez Crossing.

Even as terrorists fire rockets at Israel, the hospital is treating wounded civilians in cooperation with the Red Crescent. Hamas, the terrorist organization that rules Gaza, is trying to prevent Palestinians from entering Israel in order to reach the hospital.

“We built an admissions room and a treatment room,” an IDF soldier at the hospital said. “The IDF, as a humanitarian act, has decided to open this temporary hospital at the Erez Crossing, on the Gaza border,” Lt. Col. Sharon Biton said.

“We are able to provide emergency treatments, hospitalization and gynecology. We have a delivery room as well. The hospital has a pharmacy and a laboratory. Medics, nurses and doctors are available around the clock. We vow to give medical treatment to every human being as a human being,” Lt. Col. Rachel Mezan said.

Thousands of people surprisingly show up for pro-Israel rally in Uruguay and Argentina

Pro-Israel rally in Uruguay
By: Aryeh Savir, Hernan Leon and David Surjanyi

In a surprising show of support, thousands of people showed up for pro-Israel rallies in Uruguay and Argentina, the Tazpit News Agency reported.

More than 2,000 people came out on the streets of Montevideo, Uruguay, in an event that was organized by the Jewish community of Uruguay and the Zionist organization of Uruguay.

Sylvia Ascher, one of the participants, told the Tazpit News Agency: "We went because Jews here are absolutely Zionists, and identify with Israel and Judaism. We stand by Israel as we have always done, and lots of our sons, daughters and families made Aliyah and still do so every day, despite the situation. We have many of our children fighting in the IDF, and there are big Uruguayan communities all across Israel, and in places like kibbutz Ein Hashlosha."

Ein Hashlosha, in southern Israel, has been under constant attack. In Tucuman, Argentina, hundreds of people carrying Israeli flags gathered at the main square in the city to show support for Israel and demonstrate against terror in an event organized by the DAIA (Delegacion de Asociaciones Israelitas Argentinas).

They read messages denouncing Hamas terror and in support of peace in the region. This event was one of several that took place in Buenos Aires, Rosario, Parana and other large Argentinean cities.

Some 2,000 pro-Israel demonstrators were separated by riot police from a few dozen pro-Palestinian protesters chanting anti-Israel slogans in the center of Marseille, France.

"We are here to show our solidarity with Israel, which has been attacked and has a right to defend itself," William Labi, head of the body governing Jewish congregations in Marseille, told Reuters. The protest was also organized by the community's umbrella group CRIF. Marseille has been the scene of several violent anti-Israel demonstrations.

In Budapest, Hungary, over four thousand people packed one of the biggest European synagogues located in the city and hundreds more gathered in front of the building to participate in a pro-Israel event.

Ilan Mor, Ambassador of the State of Israel, Andras Heisler, the Hungarian Jewish Communities President and Sandor Nemeth, senior pastor of the Faith Church spoke at the event. All called for solidarity with the Jewish State. Ambassador Mor highlighted that Hamas has committed and continues to commit crimes against humanity, like the Nazis in their time, and so Israel has the right to defend itself.

Pastor Nemeth stressed the need for a firm stand against hatred, violence and lies. He stated that Hamas' crimes are continually threatening Israel and its population, and therefore: “Every decent person should stand against radical Islam, as Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East, and the only power that can maintain peace in the region."

Dozens of drones waving Israeli flags fly across Israel in support of the troops (video)

(Scroll down for video) People across Israel were able to see dozens of drones flying in the sky with Israeli flags in support of the troops, the Tazpit News Agency reported.

On Friday, people who belong to the Facebook group, DJI Israel, flew their drones in the Latrun region of the country in a unique show of support for IDF soldiers and residents of southern Israel.

The operators of the drones, a group of people who fly quadcopters both professionally and as a hobby, attached Israeli flags to the devices and flew them in different junctions across Israel.

“We came together for this operation in order to show support for the people of Israel, and especially for the IDF,” Shiran Granot said.

“The idea hit me when I drove down a highway this morning, and saw people waving flags in support of our troops. I thought ‘why not attach flags to our drones and fly them over the highway,’” Granot added.

“We had a great time with our drones. When we flew them over Highway 1, the main Jerusalem to Tel Aviv highway, people honked their horns for us and gave us some great feedback,” Granot concluded.

Farmers of Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha continue their work even after rockets from Gaza hit 50% of their homes (video)

Destroyed home in Ein Hashlosha
By: Anav Silverman

(Scroll down for video) Farmers at a kibbutz near the Gaza border are continuing their work despite the fact that Gaza rockets struck more than half of the town’s homes, the Tazpit News Agency reported.

Danny Cohen of Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha, said that it is hope that keeps him living on the Gaza border.

Originally from Argentina, Cohen is the head of the kibbutz’s emergency response team, and is among the 60 kibbutz members who have remained despite the rocket fire and Hamas infiltrations into the region.

The rest of the 300 kibbutz residents have temporarily left, seeking relief in central and northern Israel.

“In the last few years, half of the homes on the kibbutz have been struck by rockets, both by direct hits or by shrapnel from rocket explosions fired from Gaza,” Cohen told the Tazpit News Agency. “There is not one neighborhood on this kibbutz that has not been struck by a rocket.”

Cohen points to the most recent house that has been directly hit by a rocket over a week ago. The blue sky can be seen through a wide gaping hole penetrating the ceiling of the living room and bedroom, which are now full of debris.

Chaya Pachuk, the 84-year-old grandmother who lives in the now partially destroyed house, was not home at the time of the rocket strike. Photos of Pachuk’s grandchildren and children are among the dust and debris.

Pachuk, who was born in Uruguay, was one of the founding members of Ein Hashlosha. She made aliyah before the founding of the state of Israel, and helped establish the Gaza border kibbutz with her husband in 1950. Two days before the rocket strike, Pachuk had gone to her son in Tel Aviv, who had asked his elderly mother to stay with his family during the war.

“We called Chaya to let her know what had happened,” Cohen told the Tazpit News Agency. “She told us that everything would be fine – that she would come and sweep up the mess herself with a broom and dustpan. She doesn’t realize that she can’t sleep in her bedroom because only part of the ceiling remains.”

“It’s been very difficult for the elderly members of the kibbutz to accept what is happening,” Cohen explained. “They can’t process the reality of what the rockets are doing to their homes and communities. They are in a kind of denial.”

Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha, which is 2.5 kilometers away from the Gaza border, is located in the Eshkol Regional Council, which has been the target of over 500 rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip since the war began nearly three weeks ago. “This is one of the most heaviest-hit areas in southern Israel,” said Cohen.

The Eshkol council, which shares a 40-kilometer border with Gaza and a 12-kilometer border with Egypt, has over 32 communities including 14 kibbutzim, 15 moshavim, and 3 community villages.

With a population of 14,000 residents, many are farmers and the region supplies 60% of the agricultural produce consumed in Israel.

Since the war began, over half of the population of the Eshkol Regional Council has temporarily left according to spokeswoman Ronit Minaker. “Much of the population has relocated temporarily to northern Israel,” Minaker told the Tazpit News Agency. “The Regional Council supports this – this way, the lives of our residents are not at risk, as they would be if they remained here.”

For farmers, the story is different. “As a farmer, it’s not so simple to move away,” said Cohen. “This is not only our home, but our livelihood as well. The farmers stay here no matter what – we have to take care of the livestock and cows. We can’t just leave them behind.”

One of the most worrying developments during the recent war, are the number of Gaza tunnels that have been dug into Israel, through which Hamas terrorists have attempted to infiltrate the Eshkol region on several occasions. On Saturday, Ein Hashlosha and nearby Re’im, Kissufim, and Sufa, were under lockdown when Hamas terrorists infiltrated the area twice through a tunnel dug near Ein Hashlosha.

Residents remained in their homes with doors and windows locked for hours. Two IDF soldiers patrolling near Ein Hashlosha were killed by anti-tank missile and gunfire by the terror cell before the terrorists were stopped.

“Just imagine waking up in the morning and in your backyard, there are terrorists coming out of a tunnel, who want to kill you,” said Minaker. “That’s the nightmare we are facing right now.”

Nevertheless, the communities in Eshkol are very strong, noted Minaker. “There is not one community that is completely empty of people.” “Despite the rockets in the past seven years, there has actually been a 35% increase in population – people move here because of the quality of life, the scenic nature, and good community atmosphere,” she explained.

“Each kibbutz and village has an emergency response team that addresses the security situation and keeps residents informed. There is also a resilience center as well as a rocket-proof school.”

“We just want to continue with our lives,” said Minaker, who was born and raised in Eshkol. “We want our children to sleep in their own beds and to be able to enjoy summer vacation the way they should.”

“Change and hope for the future is what holds us here - the thought that tomorrow might be a better day,” Cohen said. “If we didn’t think like this, then it would truly be difficult.”

Israel captures and fully controls all Hamas terror tunnels (video)

Israeli soldier entering Hamas terror tunnel
By: Aryeh Savir

(Scroll down for video) Hamas has lost control of all the terror tunnels it has built over several years, the Tazpit News Agency reported.

IDF forces are continuing to operate inside the Gaza Strip, and their main objective are still the terror tunnels.

A senior IDF officer said that Israel is in possession of all the attack tunnels that Hamas dug from Gaza to Israel. A few more days are needed in order to dispose of the remaining tunnels, he said.

The IDF blew up two more tunnels in the course of the last 24 hours. “The longer we stay on the ground, the more we learn about the extent of the tunnels and the route they were built in,” the senior IDF officer said.

The IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General entered Gaza to appraise the IDF's achievements up-close and discuss further plans with field commanders. Aware of the mounting international pressure to end the operation immediately and unconditionally, Gantz said: "It's going to take some time, but every minute here matters."

He further pointed out that the IDF was working with full-force to destroy the leftover tunnels. Egyptian border police in coordination with the armed forces, destroyed 13 tunnels in Sinai on Saturday evening, Brigadier General Mohamed Samir said in a statement.

Authorities also seized a pickup truck that allegedly transferred 68 packs of agricultural pesticides that had Hebrew writings on it. The IDF's operations together with the Egyptians' actions are effectively cutting Hamas off from any real possibility to replenish their rocket arsenal, which is down by 50 percent, according to IDF figures.

An Israeli woman was moderately wounded yesterday afternoon, by a rocket that was fired from the Gaza Strip. Over the past 24 hours, more than 71 rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel.

At least 50 rockets hit Israel. 9 rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome missile defense systems. The IDF struck over 40 terror targets in the Gaza Strip yesterday and 3,865 terror targets in total since the beginning of the operation. 32 terror tunnels were uncovered by IDF forces since July 17th.

Since the beginning of Operation Protective Edge, more than 2,500 rockets have been fired from Gaza at Israel.

Hamas terrorists plotted to kidnap and murder thousands of Jewish civilians on Jewish New Year’s holiday (video)

IDF destroying Hamas terror tunnel
By: Aryeh Savir

(Scroll down for video) As the Israel Defense Forces uncover more Hamas terror tunnels, an evil murderous plot was revealed, the Tazpit News Agency reported.

Hamas had been preparing a murderous massive assault on Israeli civilian targets on the upcoming Jewish New Year’s holiday, Rosh Hashanah.

Hamas had been planning a surprise attack where 200 fighters would infiltrate Israel through the dozens of tunnels dug by Hamas under the border from Gaza to Israel.

The terror organization aimed to seize kibbutzim and other communities while killing and kidnapping Israeli civilians. In total, thousands of Hamas terrorists would have been swarming across Israel, wearing IDF uniforms, which would have further complicated an Israeli response. Reports further indicate that Hezbollah may have planned to join the attack as well, opening another front in the north.

The source stressed that the current unplanned war with Hamas, inadvertently thwarted a catastrophic event on an apocalyptic magnitude such as the Yom Kippur War, which would have “brought the State of Israel to its knees.”

The destruction of these tunnels takes away from Hamas a strategic weapon it has been working on and investing in heavily for years, according to the source.

Each tunnel has arteries, veins, offshoots as well as offshoots of offshoots designed in intricate and complex arrangements. As one Israeli spokesman said: "There are two Gazas, one above ground and one below ground. An underground terrorist city."

Speaking to the CBC, a senior Israeli defense official said that the Israeli military had considerable prior knowledge of Hamas weaponry and tunnels, but was still "surprised" by the extent of both when the current ground operation began.

He added that the network had not been detected by aerial surveillance, because Hamas had solved the most obvious problem, how to hide the piles of sand removed from the tunnels. This was painstakingly taken away, a few bags at a time, and stored out of sight in buildings and underneath greenhouses.

The official said that Hamas had diverted huge quantities of cement, imported for civilian construction, into the building of concrete-block walls and roofs for the tunnels. As an example, he cited a 1.7-kilometer tunnel discovered in February 2013 that Israeli engineers estimated would have required 500 tons of concrete - "enough to build a three-story hospital."

Israel has discovered 31 tunnels so far, and has destroyed several of them by employing bulldozers, explosive and other methods. IDF excavation of the tunnels has resulted in the seizure of tons of Hamas supplies, as well as the discovery of plans for future operations.

Israeli soldiers have already foiled several surprise assaults by Hamas through tunnels from Gaza into southern Israel. On July 21, ten Hamas terrorists emerged from a tunnel. They were immediately spotted and eliminated, but the clash cost the lives of two IDF soldiers.

Speaking with the Tazpit News Agency, Minister Yaakov Perry, a member of the Israeli Security Cabinet, commended the IDF for its outstanding achievements. “The IDF is working to uncover a network of underground tunnels that could have created unbearable terrorist attacks,” he said.

He further commended the IDF’s prior intelligence, which enabled these achievements. “I am sure that Israeli technology, which has provided us with the Iron Dome, will provide us with a solution for the terror tunnels as well.”

He said that various solutions were currently being examined. He further stressed that military capabilities and technological advantages were not enough. A comprehensive reality - changing diplomatic solution must be presented as well.

Writing for Gatestone, Lawrence Franklin said that the construction of network tunnels used hundreds of tons of concrete that might have otherwise been used by the Palestinians for building homes, shopping malls, parks, schools, hospitals and libraries.

Father beats up police officer who pulled over his teenage son for driving motorcycle without license

Officer Chen Yu
By: Aarav Sen

A man was arrested after putting a police officer in a hospital.

The incident began when a 16-year-old boy was riding his motorcycle without a license and car plates in Chengdu, China.

During the traffic stop the spoiled teenager called his father to come beat up the officer who was trying to arrest him.

According to reports, Xiao Yan was stopped by officer Chen Yu on Thursday afternoon. The officer discovered that he was driving the motorcycle without license plates and driver's license.

The officer asked the teen for his age. Yan replied that he was 20 years old, but when he was asked again, he admitted that he had just turned 17.

When his lie failed miserably, the boy insisted on leaving the scene. He argued with the officer for about three minutes, until he called his father and told him that he had been wounded by the officer.

The teen allegedly lied again and told his father that the officer left him with bruises all over his body.

His father arrived at the scene about 20 minutes later, and began yelling at the police officer, insisting that his child should get a medical check up rather than being taken into police custody.

Meanwhile, police patiently tried to explain to the parent that it was illegal for the minor child to drive and that the guardian must assume responsibility.

These words angered the father, and he attacked the police officer. The officer fell to the ground after he was punched by the father.

Back up officers who arrived at the scene, took the father and son to the station for further investigation. Officer Yu was taken to the hospital to treat his injuries.

The teen and his father were charged with obstructing and assaulting a police officer.

Police went to the 15-year-old high school girl's apartment in Sasebo, 900 miles southwest of Tokyo, and found the bedroom soaked in blood with the decapitated body parts of her friend.

He was brought before a Manhattan Criminal Court judge on charges of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, damage to others' property and disorderly conduct.

He was held on $3,500 bail. The altercation began on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., in the tourist area of 42nd Street and Broadway.

The Spider-Man posed for a picture with another man and a woman, who offered him $1. The Spider-Man refused to accept the bill, saying that he only accepts large donations.

That is when police officer Eduardo Molina, told the woman that she could give any amount of money she wanted. “Mind your own business,” Spider-Man told the officer.

The officer asked for his identification. Bishop said that he had none. “The defendant took a fighting stance, in which he raised his arms in front of him and clenched his fists,” the officer said.

Molina was treated at NYU Langone Medical Center.

Bishop had been arrested at least one time before for aggressively demanding money from tourists while dressed as a cartoon character.
