Crown Heights area woman arrested for killing and dismembering her roommate after arguing about rent

(Scroll down for video) A Crown Heights area woman was arrested on charges of murder after she allegedly killed and dismembered her roommate, police in New York said.
Long Island Police said that the woman stabbed her roommate after a dispute over unpaid rent and then dismembered her body, parts of which were found at several locations in Long Island.
42-year-old Leah Cuevas, pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder for the death of 28-year-old Chinelle Latoya Thompson Browne, a mother of 4 children.
Cuevas was denied bail. The murder took place at the apartment building where the two women lived.
Another resident in the building, said in a statement to the police that the two women had argued loudly on the day before the murder about the lack of electricity and hot water, and unpaid rent.
That neighbor said that Browne was renting a room from Cuevas.
