(Scroll down for video) A sports radio announcer was suspended after he cracked a Jewish joke live on air.

Now, the Chargers announcer, Hank Bauer, apologized for making the anti-Semitic joke on Sunday, during the game against the 49ers.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Chargers issued this statement:
“Although we know that Hank had no malice behind his words, we agree that the comments were inappropriate. By decision of Clear Channel, Hank will not be broadcasting the game on Thursday night.”

Bauer has been a strong voice for the Chargers for the past 16 years and a passionate advocate of the team since his playing days.

Israel’s Iron Dome successfully shoots down 15 Gaza rockets simultaneously (video)

Iron Dome destroys 15 Gaza rockets
By: Anika Rao

(Scroll down for video) A new video has emerged, showing how Israel’s Iron Dome successfully shoots down 15 rockets launched from Gaza.

The video of the incident was uploaded on YouTube, and it has since gone viral on the Internet.

The video shows a scary scene as 15 incoming rockets rush across the sky above the person who was recording the footage, to an unspecified target.

Within moments, all rockets were apparently intercepted by the Iron Dome, an advanced missile defense system created in Israel.

The system relies on radar to detect enemy fire and determine if it is directed to a populated area. If a rocket is a threat, missile launchers unleash rockets to neutralize the threat.

The defense system was partially funded by the United States, receiving $225 million lawmakers earlier this month. Israel is the only country in the world with an Iron Dome missile defense system.

Large U.S. travel company cuts all ties with Qatar for funding Hams and ISIS terror organizations

A large U.S. based travel company has cut all ties with Qatar.

The decision to stop working with Qatar is based on that country’s increasingly hardline political stance, specifically its support of Hamas and the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organizations.

An executive fam trip set for April 2015 and scheduled to visit Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha, Qatar, will visit Muscat, the capital of the Sultanate of Oman, instead.

Ya’lla Tours USA remains committed to selling other destinations in the Arabian Peninsula, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman and Bahrain.

Hamas terrorist admit to war crimes by using human shields and firing missiles from hospitals (video)

By: Sanvi Rizvi

(Scroll down for video) Detained Hamas terrorists have admitted to committing war crimes by using human shields, the IDF Blog reported.

Throughout Operation Protective Edge, the Israel Security Agency interrogated dozens of Hamas terrorists who fought against IDF forces in Gaza.

Several of these operatives admitted to using civilian buildings as cover for their military activity.

While being interrogated by the Israel Security Agency (ISA or Shin Bet Security Service), Hamas terrorists confessed to using mosques and hospitals as hiding places during Operation Protective Edge.

According to their testimony, they also built tunnels, launching sites and weapons-storage facilities near playgrounds in Gaza.

During a recent ISA interrogation, terrorist Abd Al-Rahman Ba’aloosha said that Hamas regularly gathered its fighters in the Al-Safa and Al-Abra mosques of Khan Yunis.

According to Ba’aloosha, Hamas operatives repeatedly met inside a bunker located underneath the Al-Abra mosque. Another terrorist told Israeli investigators that Hamas first recruited him during a meeting inside of Al-Abra.

Several Hamas fighters said that the terrorist organization used mosques to train operatives and hide explosives. Mohammed Ramadan recalled that Hamas commanders taught him to fire anti-tank missiles inside the Al-Shafi’i mosque in Khan Yunis. The mosque served as a training base for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’ military wing.

Throughout Operation Protective Edge, the IDF uncovered significant evidence indicating that Hamas used mosques for terror purposes. On several occasions, Israeli forces documented rocket launches from inside mosques or nearby areas. While searching one mosque in Gaza, soldiers uncovered dozens of weapons and shafts leading into underground attack tunnels.

During the ISA’s interrogations, one terrorist confessed that mosques were used to hide guns, RPGs and other kinds of weaponry. Another Hamas operative admitted that hospitals and schools – including the Nasser and Hilal hospitals of Khan Yunis – were used for the same purposes.

According to terrorists Afif and Ahmed Jarrah, Hamas built an attack tunnel just steps away from a playground in Beit Lahia. Another Hamas operative told investigators that he helped dig a similar tunnel near a medical clinic. He added that terrorists planned to hold IDF soldiers hostage in a Gazan playground had they successfully carried out a kidnapping.

Another terrorist said it was “widely known” that senior Hamas operatives had been hiding inside of Gaza’s hospitals. During his interrogation, he explained that armed bodyguards protected Hamas’ leaders in medical facilities. He also confirmed that senior terrorists were hiding inside of Shifa hospital, surrounded by guards dressed in civilian clothing.

As IDF footage shows, Hamas uses medical centers for military purposes in order to shield itself from IDF strikes – and to draw international condemnation of Israel if the IDF is forced to respond.

Hamas transformed Wafa Hospital, a civilian building in the Shuja’iya neighborhood of Gaza City, into a command center, rocket-launching site, observation point, sniper’s post, weapons storage facility, cover for tunnel infrastructure, and a general base for attacks against Israel and IDF forces.

It repeatedly opened fire from hospital windows and used anti-tank missiles from the premises.

Samir Abu Luli, another terrorist interrogated by Israel, admitted that Hamas’ police officers had been stationed in the Al-Najar Hospital of Rafah, since the beginning of the operation.

He said the officers repeatedly closed areas of the hospital and prevented patients’ family members from entering. Nafez Shaluf, an operative from Rafia, added that operatives of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad frequently hid in Al-Najar. On one occasion, he saw terrorists throwing patients out of the hospital and into the street.

The ISA’s interrogations confirm what Israel has always known about Hamas. The terrorist organization shamelessly exploits Gaza’s population as a cover for its terror activity. By attacking Israel from homes, hospitals, schools and mosques, terrorists endanger Gaza’s populated areas and turn civilians into human shields.

1,000 lawyers condemn U.N. for committing war crimes after allowing Hamas to use its schools to murder Israeli children

Israeli mother protecting her child from incoming Gaza rocket
By: Ze'ev Ben-Yechiel

Thousands of lawyers have condemned the U.N. for allowing Hamas to use U.N. facilities to murder Israeli children, the Tazpit News Agency reported.

The United Nations Relief Works Agency (UNRWA), has come under increasing fire in recent weeks, for aiding Hamas in the terror group's war against Israel, with one advocacy group lodging a formal complaint against the organization.

As evidence seems to continue to emerge of the use agency schools and clinics as Hamas storehouses, rocket launching sites and tunnel entrances, protest has grown in Israel and abroad that the organization, established to aid the Palestinian Arab refugee population, has far exceeded its mandate by aiding and sustaining the psychological and physical assault on Israeli civilians and infrastructure.

At the same time that evidence was mounting that the U.N. agency was allowing Hamas to use its facilities to launch attacks on Israel, a number of statements were issued by U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon criticizing Israel for use of disproportionate force.

In response, the Legal Forum for Israel drafted a letter to Ki-moon, decrying his accusations and denouncing the lack of accountability by the international body for its role in the violence.

Several thousand attorneys from around the world signed the letter, which called Ki-moon's statements "shocking, deceitful and totally inaccurate" in light of the extraordinary efforts made by the IDF to minimize civilian casualties at the cost of its own soldiers' lives, especially when compared to the continued appropriation of U.N. facilities by Hamas in its war on Israel.

"We are shocked at your utter disregard of the fact that the very U.N. premises of which you accuse Israel of attacking, have been cynically abused by Hamas and used as storehouses for ammunition, and launching pads for rockets," read the statement.

“Rather than falsely accusing Israel, one might have expected that as the executive head of the U.N., you would have admitted responsibility of the U.N. for such abuse of its facilities, and instituted a thorough inquiry as to how and why UNRWA facilities were placed at the disposal of the Hamas terror organization, how and why the U.N. officials responsible for such facilities permitted this situation to occur, and why those rockets and other weapons that were discovered in such facilities were transferred to Hamas, for their continued use against Israel’s citizens,” the letter continues.

"In permitting the storage of weapons, and in transferring such weapons into the hands of Hamas, the U.N. has in fact permitted itself to become accessory to the commission of war crimes."

The statement concluded by calling on Ki-moon to conduct a "high-level inquiry" of these infractions and to bring its perpetrators within the organization to justice, and charged that the Secretary-General's "exaggerated, selective, biased and often false accusations against Israel and [his] total disregard of the truth have irreparably discredited [him] and the U.N."

Last Friday's death of four-year-old Daniel Tragerman, killed in his home by mortar fire originating from near a UNRWA school close to the Gaza-Israel border, capped a string of incidents involving U.N. facilities in Gaza.

On July 30, IDF troops operating in Khan Yunis discovered a terror tunnel that had been dug inside a UNRWA medical clinic. Three soldiers were killed in the subsequent inspection when Hamas detonated 12 explosive devices they had embedded in the clinic's walls as a booby trap.

The previous day, a stockpile of rockets was found in an UNRWA school in Gaza. The agency acknowledged the find, but did not disclose the number of rockets found, the location of the school or which terror group the arms belonged to. Days earlier, an IDF investigation had found that Hamas terrorists fired anti-tank missiles at the army from within a different UNRWA school complex.

In addition, the IDF said that at least 30 rockets have been fired at Israeli civilians from UNRWA compounds or places adjacent to them throughout the war.

On July 22, the U.N. agency found yet another cache of rockets stockpiled in one of its schools, which it said was “situated between two other UNRWA schools that currently each accommodate 1,500 internally displaced persons.”

This came just a week after some 20 Hamas rockets were discovered hidden in a different UNRWA school. Although the organization condemned the incident as a "flagrant violation" of international law, pledged an investigation, and later declared that the rockets had been removed, senior Israeli officials maintained that the rockets were simply returned to Hamas.

In another incident, while inspecting a terror tunnel in a private house in Gaza, IDF forces found UNRWA equipment that has been used to dig the tunnel, along with flour sacks bearing the UNRWA logo that were used for concealment purposes.

Admissions of malfeasance by at least one senior official of UNRWA, bolstered the indictments leveled at the U.N.'s role in Gaza and its official conduct in the conflict.

Speaking on condition of anonymity, the official told Times of Israel that his agency has been suffering from “battered-wife syndrome” for years and continues to "ingratiate itself with Hamas."

Another UNRWA official said that the organization gave rockets that it found to “local authorities,” which answer to Hamas. There is also evidence that the terror group has infiltrated the agency's labor unions and school system.

According to David Bedein, head of the Center for Near East Policy Research, Hamas has been in control of UNRWA's workers' union for many years.

In the last union elections on September 2012, the "Professional List," led by Hamas operative Suhail al-Hindi, won all 11 of the seats that had been allocated to the teachers' sector, six out of seven of the seats in the workers' sector and eight of the nine seats in the service sector.

A report issued by the Center also named a number of terrorist operatives holding high-level teaching positions in UNRWA schools, resulting in Hamas having a "tremendous impact on the UNRWA education system and the contents taught in it."

The radicalization of UNRWA school curricula by Hamas, and its use of the schools as a platform for inculcating children with hatred towards Jews and a desire for martyrdom, has long been documented.

Phrases like "the road to Palestine passes through the blood of martyrs" and similar imagery are part of the regular syllabus. Posters in UNRWA classrooms glorify suicide bombers, and Gazan television stations regularly broadcast shows in which children are prompted to boast of their devotion to killing Jews.

The results, according to the report, speak for themselves. "An examination of the resumes of the Al-Qassam Brigades activists who were killed, reveals a pattern," notes the paper, coauthored by Lt. Col. (res.) Jonathan D. Halevi.

"Dozens of activists in the Al-Qassam Brigades started out as activists in the Islamic Bloc in UNRWA schools in the Gaza Strip, joined Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood and later the military wing of Hamas, the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades. All of them were involved in terrorist activities against Israel or in fighting against the IDF," Halevi added.

"By definition, UNRWA schools function as a supportive element of the Palestinian propaganda," said Alan Baker, Director of the International Action Division of the Legal Forum for Israel and former Israeli Ambassador to Canada.

Speaking about UNRWA workers, he noted that "it's very clear what their orientation is—by day they may work in schools and clinics, by night go out and throw stones and commit other acts of terror."

Baker went on to say that the situation vis-a-vis Hamas and UNRWA was "unbelievably inane" and perpetuated by deceit on all levels of the United Nations body. "Drastic change needs to take place in the way the international community funds UNRWA and the way it is run by its bosses and the United Nations," he concluded.

Palestinian civilian men use their wives’ jewelry to fund the terror tunnels of Gaza

Gaza terror tunnel
By: Anav Silverman

It turns out that the Gaza terror tunnels were financed by ordinary Palestinians seeking a return on their cash, the Tazpit News Agency reported.

Amid a shaky and uncertain ceasefire with Hamas, Israelis did not celebrate in the streets as Hamas and the people in the Gaza Strip did with fireworks and rifle shots in the air.

As long as the force behind the rocket fire and a massive underground tunnel terror network remains in power, Israelis remain wary.

An article published in the Institute for Palestine Studies two years ago by The Economist reporter, Nicolas Pelham, thoroughly examines the development of Gaza’s tunnel phenomenon over the past 10 years – a network described as “an underground city,” according to an Israeli military spokesman, Capt. Eytan Buchman.

“Much to the misfortune of the people of Gaza, Hamas has invested far more resources in ‘underground Gaza’ than in ‘upper Gaza,’” wrote Shlomi Eldar in an article for Al-Monitor.

“The change and reform that Hamas offered its voters was invested in its tunnels at the expense of the people of Gaza.”

While Hamas' tunnel infrastructure was once utilized exclusively for smuggling weapons, funds, goods and terrorists into the Gaza Strip, Operation Protective Edge revealed that Hamas has expanded its extensive tunnel network into Israel - to attack and kill IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians living in communities on the border.

The IDF estimates that Hamas invests more than $1 million and up to $10 million into the excavation and maintenance of every tunnel, which equals 350 truckloads of building supplies.

It goes without saying that with those materials, Hamas could have invested into the welfare of its own people, using that money to build medical clinics, homes, mosques and schools.

Instead, with Israel discovering and demolishing 36 tunnels during the war, Hamas wasted over $90 million with its underground terrorist infrastructure.

Indeed, Hamas has been engaged in the tunnel industry for the past 7 years since its rise to power in 2007. Prior to Operation Cast Lead, the Islamist movement of Hamas oversaw a sophisticated and complex underground tunnel program, utilizing Google Earth to map routes and to stay on course.

Each tunnel cost anywhere from $80,000 to $200,000 to build. According to Pelham's published report in 2012, mosque preachers praised the commercial tunnel ventures as “resistance” activity and hailed workers killed on the job as “martyrs.”

“Private investors, including Hamas members who raised capital through their mosque networks, partnered with families straddling the border. Lawyers drafted contracts for cooperatives to build and operate commercial tunnels, which detailed the number of partners, the value of respective shares and the way to distribute shareholder profits,” wrote Pelham.

These “partners” comprised of all sectors of Palestinian society. Pelham cites Abu Ahmad, a taxi driver who invested $20,000 of his wife’s jewelry, to partner with nine others in a tunnel “venture.”

Within a month, a trade tunnel under joint-partnership could generate revenue to cover its initial construction costs, with Gazan and Egyptian partners and owners splitting earnings equally.

From a few dozen factional tunnels in mid-2005, Hamas’ takeover of the Gaza Strip in 2007 ensured that by December of 2008, during Operation Cast Lead, the tunnels numbered at least 500.

According to Penham's article, the tunnel trade revenue in 2005 stood at an average of $30 million per year. After Hamas entered the picture, the tunnel revenue increased to $36 million per month. Meanwhile, the Gaza Strip has remained in poverty with the per capita income in 2011 listed at $1,165.

The Hamas Interior Ministry even established the Tunnel Affairs Commission (TAC) in 2009, following Operation Cast Lead to oversee and regulate tunnel activities as well as ensuring safe working conditions, particularly when 160 children used by Hamas as child laborers, were killed digging underground tunnels.

Following Operation Cast Lead, donations for cement were needed to rebuild new and damaged buildings in Gaza. However, a report by the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center this August, revealed that significant priority was given to rebuilding Hamas military infrastructure.

A substantial amount of cement was allotted to building the extensive system of attack tunnels and smuggling tunnels under Gaza's urban landscape. Hamas also utilized the cement to build most of its military infrastructure in densely-populated territory as part of its combat strategy.

Palestinian military sources told Al-Monitor that the tunnel discovered by Israel near Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha from Gaza in October 2013, cost an estimated $10 million and required 800 tons of concrete. Over 100 diggers worked on the tunnel for more than two years, equipping it with a communications network and electricity as well as stockpiles of cookies, yogurt and other foods that would last for several months.

During the war itself, the IDF discovered within the terror tunnels, AK-47 assault rifles, rocket-propelled grenades, mortars and motorcycles.

Hamas recently indicated to international press that it would continue building up its underground network while restocking arsenal, rockets and other weaponry. As one Hamas fighter told a Reuters news reporter last week, who visited an underground tunnel in Gaza: "In peace we make preparations, and in war we use what we have readied."

(Scroll down for video) A man is facing 20 years behind bars after a YouTube video shows him destroying his expensive car.

39-year-old Andy Lee House, was arrested after he was seen on video driving his beautiful rare $1.6 million Bugatti Veyron car into water.

House originally told his insurance company that a “low-flying pelican” made him lose control of the luxury sedan after which he plowed into the Gulf near La Marque, Texas.

House reported the loss to his insurance company, and tried to collect the $2.2 million policy he had taken out on the Bugatti.

However, House did not know that a driver had used his cell phone to record the fast moving car, and uploaded the video to YouTube.

The man who recorded the video, was heard saying that he wants to own the impressive car one day. The video proved that there were no pelicans in the air that day.

House pleaded guilty to federal charges of wire fraud for deliberately wrecking his rare Bugatti Veyron car, which is an Italian supercar capable of driving 250 miles per hour and powered by a W16 cylinder engine, the equivalent of two narrow-angle V8 engines.

A joint investigation of the accident by the FBI, the Texas Rangers and Lufkin Police Department, revealed that after landing in the water, House got out and left the engine running, causing salt water to be sucked into the car, which destroyed the powerful engine, according to the United States Attorney’s Office.

In the video below, you can see the car being driven into the water.

A bank in Russia, started offering free cats for customers who take out mortgages on new homes.

Sberbank, one of the largest banks in the country, allows its customers to choose from one of 10 breeds of cats that will be delivered to their new home in time for the opening party.

However, the customers will not be able to keep the cats indefinitely. Cats are believed to provide good luck if they enter the property before the owner.

The new homeowners will get to spend two hours with the cats so they can take pictures. Earlier this month, TD Bank decided to take a more traditional approach in attracting new customers.

Hundreds of TD Bank customers were surprised to see that ATMs were giving them free stuff, according to a video uploaded to the Internet. In an effort to thank its customers, TD Canada Trust went above and beyond offering free coffee and biscuits.

The bank deployed "Automated Thanking Machines" to branches across Canada, giving lucky customers some amazing gifts.

A video of customer reactions to the gifts was uploaded to YouTube, and it has since gone viral, receiving nearly seven million views.

A single mother who had been unable to take her children on vacation, was given a trip to Disneyland. An old woman received tickets to Trinidad, so she could visit her daughter, who is battling cancer.

A Toronto Blue Jays fan was offered the opportunity to throw the first pitch of a game.

"We wanted to thank our customers in a way that we thought was unique and distinctive," Chris Stamper, SVP corporate marketing at TD Canada Trust, said.

The ATMs are part of the #TDThanksYou campaign.

In addition to the machines, TD Canada Trust had more than 20,000 employees give away green envelopes containing $20 to each customer in more than 1,100 bank branches across Canada.

Customers using the telephone and online banking were given a direct deposit of $20.

Pilot, 23, manages to land safely while passenger, 82, grabbed the controls of his plane

James Chandler and Leslie Nixon
By: Aarav Sen

A young pilot is being called a hero after he managed to land a plane safely after a man tried to take over the controls.

23-year-old James Chandler, was forced to punch his passenger in the face, breaking his nose, after he tried to take control of his plane.

Chandler was flying over Blue Mountains in Australia, when his elderly passenger grabbed the controls of the four-seater Duchess light aircraft.

The passenger, 82-year-old Leslie Nixon, has been flying planes for 50 years in Australia, as part of the Christian outreach program he started with his wife Martha.

Chandler on the other hand, got his pilot's license just two years ago, but managed to land his single-engine aircraft in a field near Oberon, 110 kilometers from Sydney.

In the emergency call to air traffic control, Chandler was heard saying “my passenger is trying to take control.”

Nixon booked the flight with the charter company in Sydney, after telling staff that he needed to “sign some papers” in the town of Cowra.

Halfway through the flight, Nixon tried to send the plane in a tailspin. However, Chandler punched him in the face, which gave the pilot enough time to land safely.

Both were taken to a hospital. Chandler was treated for shock and Nixon was treated for facial injuries and a broken nose.

Police praised the pilot for remaining calm under pressure, which helped prevent a disaster.

Officers are now investigating and want to find out if Nixon deliberately tried to crash the plane.

(Scroll down for video) A father was found not guilty in the murder of a man who killed his two young sons.

31-year-old David Barajas of Texas, was charged with murder and faced life in prison after he was accused of fatally shooting the driver who killed his sons.

Barajas was on his way home with his sons, 12-year-old David Jr. and 11-year-old Caleb. They were about 50 yards from their Houston home when their car got stuck.

Caleb and David got out of the car and helped their father push the stalled vehicle. At some point, a car slammed into them from behind.

The accident occurred about 11:00 p.m. David Jr. died at the scene, while Caleb died at a hospital.

Prosecutors said that Barajas went to his home and returned to the scene to kill 20-year-old Jose Banda.

However, investigators never recovered a gun and didn't have an eyewitness to the shooting. Barajas’ attorney, Sam Cammack, said that his client only focused on saving his childrens’ lives and did not kill the man.

Barajas said that there were other men in the car with the drunk driver, but they fled the scene after the crash. He believes that one of them shot and killed Banda.

The prosecutor did not provide sufficient evidence to the jury to prove their claim that Barajas killed the driver.

Barajas and his wife cried after he was found not guilty.
Barajas is happy to be cleared of a crime he did not commit. However, he said that he is still grieving over the loss of his beloved sons.

Texas school allows teachers to carry guns in school to protect students (video)

(Scroll down for video) In light of the school massacres in recent years, a school in Texas voted to allow teachers to carry guns.

The new act falls under the state’s Protection of Texas Children Act.

The Argyle Independent School District posted signs,
warning visitors of its four campuses that staff members are armed and may use whatever force necessary to protect their students.

School officials said the decision follows “a comprehensive evaluation of District's safety, security and emergency response politics.”

The local police chief is monitoring the gun program at school. The armed teachers are referred to as “school marshals.”

Phoenix Police Sergeant Mike Gurry resigned on Tuesday afternoon, after Hobby Lobby employees allegedly caught him stealing from their store.

Because he resigned and was not fired he is still eligible to collect his pension. Gurry is a 29-year veteran of the Phoenix Police Department.

Gurry was not booked into jail. Instead, he was cited and released. In April, a police officer was arrested and charged with theft related charges after he was caught stealing from a suicide victim, according to police reports in Alabama.

The Montgomery police officer, who was on the force for 26 years, is accused of theft after a fellow police officer saw him taking money from the suicide victim's personal belongings being held by the Department.

The officer, Stanley Wilson, 48, is accused of pocketing $20 from the victim's personal belongings. The theft can cost the officer his job in the Criminal Investigation Division. He has been with Montgomery Police Department since 1987.

After being charged with third-degree theft, a Class A misdemeanor, Wilson was transferred to the prison in the city of Montgomery. Police Chief Kevin J. Murphy immediately initiated termination proceedings and placed him on leave.

"We hold our officers to the highest standards," Murphy said. "That's what the public expects and deserves. Theft of any amount is unacceptable and intolerable in our ranks," he added.

Murphy also said that the actions of the police officer who reported the observed theft, are consistent with the character and expectations of the Montgomery Police Department.
