13-year-old yeshiva student beaten in unprovoked attack in Borough Park

A Hasidic yeshiva student was beaten in an unprovoked attack in Borough Park, police in new York said.

Brooklyn Police said that the incident unfolded just before 6:30 a.m. on Monday morning.

According to the police investigation, the 13-year-old boy was walking outside the Satmar synagogue located on 53rd Street between 13 and 14 Avenues, when a man suddenly knocked him to the ground.

The suspect fled from the scene while laughing from the victim. The suspect did not say anything during the attack and nothing was stolen from the boy.

The boy told police that he did not know his attacker. Police are looking for the suspect, and so far, no arrests have been made.

Burglars target Jewish homes that are kept unlocked during Shabbat

Two men were arrested, charged and convicted of burglary after targeting Jewish homes that were kept unlocked during Shabbat, prosecutors in the United Kingdom said.

David Fox and Patrick Chambers of Gateshead are behind bars after they admitted to breaking into four properties in just over an hour.

The two walked down a street and checked door that were unlocked on Friday night. According to Jewish law, Jews are not permitted to carry their keys on the street during Shabbat.

Chambers, 33, was jailed for 20 months, while Fox received 12 months. The Newcastle Crown Court heard how the thieves were behind a series of burglaries into the Jewish area of Gateshead.

In one home, an 81-year-old woman was present during the robbery and in another home, a four-year-old girl was in her room when the suspects entered to steal valuables.

(Scroll down for video) A Muslim terrorist was eliminated after he tried to run over soldiers and civilians with his vehicle, the Tazpit News Agency reported.

The Sharon District Police Department said that they thwarted the second potential major terror incident on Tuesday.

The second incident unfolded when the terrorist was speeding through an Israeli army checkpoint. He was shot and killed by IDF forces.

According to investigators at the scene, the driver intended to run over soldiers and civilians at the checkpoint. Three passengers were in the car when police shot the driver.

Two passengers were transported to Meir Hospital in Kfar Saba.

Earlier on Tuesday, two terrorists were arrested in central Israel, for plotting to carry out what investigators believe to be a suicide bombing.

Man chokes Borough Park area 89-year-old woman while she sat on steps outside her home (video)

(Scroll down for video) An elderly Borough Park area woman was rushed to a hospital after she was choked by a man while she sat outside her home, police in New York said.

Brooklyn Police said that they are searching for the man, who allegedly approached the 89-year-old woman sitting on the front steps of her home, threw her to the ground and tried to strangle her with his shirt.

Barije Madi sat on the lawn chair in front of her home on Saturday afternoon, when the suspect approached her and tried to talk to her.

The woman got scared, got up and tried to take the chair back to her home. As the old woman entered the building, the suspect pushed her down the stairs.

The suspect then grabbed the woman and pushed her back into her apartment.

The woman's daughter-in-law heard her screams, and when she came into the apartment, she found the suspect on top of the woman as he tried to strangle her with his shirt.

Madi was transported by ambulance to Maimonides Medical Center, where she was treated and released. Police said that the woman did not know her attacker. Nothing was stolen from her, and a motive is still unclear.

Bus driver and 2-year-old girl injured after Muslims threw stones at buses

A bus driver and a little girl were hospitalized after they suffered injuries when their bus came under attack by Muslim terrorists, Israel Police said.

The Jerusalem Police Department said that the 2-year-old girl was slightly injured by broken glass after the terrorists threw stones at the bus traveling on a Jerusalem street.

The injured girl was transported to Hadassah Medical Center on Mount Scopus. The girl suffered injuries to her face and legs. Earlier in the day, a Molotov cocktail was thrown at a bus on Route 505 between Tapuach and Sha'ar Shomron.

The bus driver suffered minor injuries from broken glass. Magen David Adom paramedics who arrived at the scene, treated the bus driver.

No other injuries were reported. Police are searching for the terrorists, and so far, no arrests have been made.

Thousands attend funeral of 66th Israeli soldier who was killed in Operation Protective Edge (video)

(Scroll down for video) Thousands of Israelis paid their last respects to the 66th soldier killed as a result of Operation Protective Edge, the Tazpit News Agency reported.

First Sgt. Shachar Shalev was laid to rest on Monday afternoon, in the cemetery in Hipsin.

Shalev, 20, succumbed to his wounds he sustained on July 23, when a roadside bomb detonated in Khan Yunis, killing his commander and two fellow soldiers.

Shalev was a sergeant in the Paratroopers' Brigade, and was promoted upon his burial. He was a resident of Alonei Bashan in the Golan Heights, and is survived by his mother Naomi, his father Shimon, and his five siblings.

Shalev is the final casualty from this summer's Gaza war, which has taken 72 Israeli lives, 66 of them IDF soldiers.

Last Friday, Sgt. Netanel Maman died of wounds he sustained on August 22, from shrapnel of a rocket that exploded next to Gan Yavneh in the Ashdod region.

Maman was on leave from Operation Protective Edge at the time, and was riding in a car driven by his brother when the shrapnel hit them.

He was laid to rest at the Gan Yavneh cemetery.

Two men use grandmother’s casket to smuggle drugs

Two men who paid respect to their grandmother, have used her casket to smuggle drugs.

The men of Georgia, used their deceased grandmother’s coffin to smuggle drugs into prison.

Inmates Nekoase Antwan Vinson, 30, and his cousin, Henry Ison Rouse, 27, were given permission to attend their grandmother’s funeral.

The inmates were escorted by jail guards to the private viewing of their 74-year-old grandmother Emma Mae Faulk of Macon.

Once there, while still in handcuffs, the two men were given a few moments alone to grieve for their loss.

According to Bibb County Sheriff David Davis, when they returned to prison and were searched, deputies found the contraband on them.

Officers said that drug was apparently placed in the coffin by relatives. “To use the body of a dead grandmother to hide drugs and other contraband is evil,” Davis said.

Prison staff also found tobacco, a lighter and a cell phone on the 30-year-old man. Both defendants were charged with possession of marijuana and bringing contraband into the jail.

3 funeral home workers arrested for cutting off and stealing parts of dead woman

Three people were arrested after allegedly stealing body parts of a dead woman, prosecutors in Kenya said.

According to Machakos Police, the three funeral home workers were arrested and arraigned before a court after being charged with illegally damaging the body of a deceased person.

Prosecutors told the court that Stephen Ngei, Julius Wambua, and Mary Nzilani, who all work at the Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, mutilated the body of Naomi Mutono.

All three suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges before Resident Magistrate Jesse Nyanga. They were booked into jail and released on Sh20,000 bail ($1 = Sh88.55).

In August, a heartless female thief was seen on video stealing a bouquet of roses that an elderly man placed at his wife’s grave, police in the United Kingdom said.

Police are hunting for the thief who stole the 51 roses from the cemetery. 75-year-old Maurice Powell, was left heartbroken when his late wife, 70-year-old Sandra, lost her battle with cancer.

Powell said that he bought his wife 51 roses to represent the years of their marriage, 1 rose for every year, and put in a memorial area at the Robin Hood Cemetery.

However, when he returned the next day, the flowers were nowhere to be found. Powell said that he can’t understand how someone can stoop so low.

Surveillance video of the robbery, which took place around 3:30 p.m., was given over to the West Midlands Police, but so far, no arrests have been made.

Man throws girl from car window and strikes her with his car after having argument with much younger girlfriend (video)

(Scroll down for video) A man was arrested on charges of assault after throwing a girl from a car window and striking her with his vehicle, police in Illinois said.

The Chicago Police Department said that the 18-month-old girl was seriously injured and she was transported to a local hospital on Monday morning.

The incident unfolded around 2:30 a.m. near 75th and Cottage Grove.

According to the police investigation, the 46-year-old man had a violent argument with a 23-year-old woman inside the parked car while two children were present.

When the 7-year-old son of the girlfriend tried to stop the violent confrontation the man struck him.

The man then took the 18-month-old girl and threw her from the window of the car and then struck the child with the vehicle as he drove off.

Both children are in stable condition at University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital.

Dog finds missing 15-year-old girl whose body was burned and dumped (video)

(Scroll down for video) A dog that was being walked, found a missing girl whose body was burned and dumped, police in Indiana said.

Indianapolis Police arrived on the 1100 block of Elder Avenue about 12:30 p.m. Sunday, where they found the girl whose body showed signs of fire trauma.

Detectives said that Bradly Parks was walking his dog when he discovered the body in his backyard. The girl was identified as 15-year-old Dominque Allen.

Police believe that Allen was killed at a different location before her body was dumped behind the house. Detectives questioned several people in the area on Monday, but no arrests have been made.

"The Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township was heartbroken to learn that a burned body was found behind a house in Indianapolis at 12:30 Sunday afternoon. The girl has been identified as a student at Ben Davis Ninth Grade Center. This week we will have additional counselors in our schools for students and staff who may need help," Ben Davis Schools said in a statement.

73-year-old man pulls gun on dentist after becoming upset about his bill

An elderly man was arrested on charges of assault after he pulled a gun on his dentist because he became upset about his bill, police in Michigan said.

The Dearborn Police Department said that the violent incident unfolded at the Advanced Dental Clinic, which is located on Ford Road, when the 73-year-old man was presented with his bill.

At first, the man began arguing with an employee. The disagreement escalated and the suspect pulled his gun and threatened the dentist.

The employee grabbed the man and the two fought over the gun. The gun fired one shot, but no one was injured. Others in the office helped subdue the suspect until police arrived.

In July, a doctor was seriously injured after two people attacked him when he refused to prescribe them the drugs they demanded.

The doctor was attacked while treating patients at the TB Sapru Hospital, which is located in Allahabad, India. Police officers who arrived at the scene, arrested the two suspects.

Dr. Mahendra Kumar was treated at the hospital. Mohd Naseer and Mohd Farman, were charged with assault.

Man arrested after living with dead girlfriend and using her credit card to buy beer (video)

(Scroll down for video) A man did not report that his girlfriend was dead in order to use her credit card to buy beer, police in Wisconsin said.

Cudahy Police said that 50-year-old Peggy Pamperin, was not seen alive since May, and her mummified body was found when the owner of the home came to pick up rent for the previous two months.

During that time, the boyfriend of the woman used her credit card to buy beer at a cigarette store. The boyfriend told an employee that his girlfriend gave him permission to use her credit card.

The boyfriend charged $1,200 on the credit card until it was canceled by the bank. Pamperin was found decomposing under a blanket.

Neighbors reported seeing the boyfriend enter and leave the apartment. The boyfriend was arrested for violating a no-contact order with Pamperin.

The cause of death was not yet determined, and no charges relating to the woman’s death have been filed.

Wedding guest arrested for stealing gifts from bride and groom

A wedding guest was placed under arrest after he allegedly stole gifts from the bride and groom, police in Ohio said.

The Dayton Police Department said that 29-year-old Noah Howard, was arrested early on Sunday, during the reception of the newlywed couple.

Staff members of the facility called police after noticing that all the couple’s gifts, totaling more than $6,800 worth of checks and cash, were gone.

The items had been placed inside a safe in the office.

Before the police arrived, all the missing items were found inside a garment bag behind some bushes near the entrance of the hall.

The staff members told police that the garment bag belonged to Howard.

Surveillance video showed that Howard entered the office and then emerged with the garment bag that appeared to be heavy.

When police interviewed Howard he said that he did not know how the items got inside his bag, and said that perhaps an employee made a mistake.

Howard was booked into jail on charges of theft.

Father gets 6 years prison for killing cell phone thief who stabbed him in the eye

Despite being stabbed in the eye by a cell phone thief, a man received a six year prison sentence for culpable homicide, prosecutors in the United Kingdom said.

The incident began when the defendant used an iPhone app to track down the man who stole his son’s phone.

When the defendant caught up with the thief, the thief stabbed him in the eye, and in response, the man stabbed him to death.

38-year-old Derek Grant, confronted 29-year-old Patrick Bradley, after he held up his son Jordan in Greenock.

The High Court in Glasgow, heard that Bradley stabbed Grant in the eye. In response, Grant stabbed Bradley in the chest. He was originally charged with murder, but he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of culpable homicide.

The court heard how Jordan Grant was returning to his home in Greenock, when he was confronted by Bradley, who had a significant history of violence.

He ordered the student to hand over his iPhone, which he did. Jordan went home and told his father about the theft. Grant used a mobile application to track the stolen phone to a nearby location.

Grant left his home with Jordan and his two younger sons, Lee, 17, and 16-year-old Jamie. They saw Bradley, and Grant ordered him to hand over the stolen phone.

Bradley criticized Grant and stabbed him in the eye before Grant repeatedly hit him with the knife. Bradley suffered a cardiac arrest and died after the incident.

Grant was left blind in one eye. At sentencing, the judge told Grant that he should have called the police rather than taking matters into his own hands.

Father stabbed to death on his 24th birthday while trying to get baby back from kidnapper

(Scroll down for video) A man was killed on his 24th birthday while trying to save his baby.

Kenneth Boyd of New Mexico, went to a party in Edgewood with his girlfriend and their baby.

According to his stepmother, Boyd took his baby to the party to meet another baby, who might be his half brother.

When they were ready to go home, Boyd, his girlfriend and their baby, left with 32-year-old Michael Fox.

During the ride home, when the child began to cry, the parents asked Fox to pull over so that they can take a bottle from the trunk.

As soon as Boyd and his girlfriend stepped out of the car Fox took off with the baby still in the car.

Torrance County deputies and Edgewood Police responded to the call for help while Boyd tried to reach Fox on the phone.

Police said that Boyd finally managed to persuade Fox to drop off the child at a Circle K convenience store.

As Boyd and his girlfriend arrived at the Circle K convenience store, police said that Fox ran across the parking lot and began attacking Boyd. He suffered multiple stab wounds and died from his injuries.

Police said that Fox fled the scene, but detectives were able to locate him and take him into custody shortly thereafter. The motive for the stabbing is still unknown.

Fox has a long criminal record, including aggravated battery, unlawful carrying of a firearm and harassment.

Jail guards arrested for extorting sex from female inmates in exchange for drugs and to dismiss charges

Three guards of the Sierra County Detention Center, are accused of threatening inmates until they agreed to have sex with them.

Interestingly, they live in a city called Truth or Consequences.

After a two-month long investigation, officers of the Truth or Consequences Police Department arrested two officers and are still looking to arrest a third man, who no longer works at the jail.

Police have arrested Virgil Eaton, 38, and Miguel Herrera, 22. Joshua Corley, 22, has a warrant out for his arrest.

According to the criminal complaint, the men received oral sex from inmates in exchange for prescription pills and in some cases, they offered to drop charges of an inmate in exchange for sex.

The men face charges including rape and bringing contraband into jail.

Waitresses earn whopping $30,000 a month by serving coffee along with adult services

The women earned up to $30,000 a month working at a coffee stand. One woman reportedly made ​​$89,000 in just one month.

The waitresses of the coffee shop named Java Juggs, were ordered to wear bikinis and to follow a “dress code.” The women were fined if they were caught without high heels, a tan or without makeup, according to court documents.

He likes to be independent and not rely on people for all his needs. His independence helped him succeed in life. De Oliveira studied to become an accountant and got a degree from the State University of Feira de Santana.

He does accounting for clients. De Oliveira types by using a pen in his mouth. He also has specially designed shoes that allow him to “walk.”

Woman goes into labor and gives birth as she arrived at best friend’s wedding

However, she had no idea that she would not make it to the wedding and that she would be the center of attention.

Amanda Hutchinson, 28, of England, was looking forward to the wedding of her friends, but declined to be a bridesmaid.

Her husband, Gareth, agreed to be the best man.

However, as they arrived to the wedding venue, Hutchinson went into labor. The baby did not seem to want to wait until they got to the hospital.

Friends grabbed sheets from the hotel and covered the windows of the car to protect her privacy while giving birth.

The baby was born outside the King's Hotel in Darlington. The mother and baby were taken to the hospital, and were honored with a visit from the overjoyed bride, Amanda Vasey, 37, and her groom, Steven Vasey, 35, after they tied the knot.

The family also has a one-year-old son named Alfie. He was dressed up for the wedding.

Man kills three students before jumping to his death after school refused to register his daughter

The man, who was armed with two knives, went on a killing spree at an elementary school in China.

Several people were injured in the attack, some seriously, and three young children died of their injuries.

The atrocity took place on the first day of the new school year when school officials would not allow his daughter into class.

Authorities reportedly said that the suspect’s daughter was denied entry because she did not finish her summer assignment.

According to the initial police investigation, the man entered the school in Shiyan City, which is located in the Hubei Province, saying that he had to register his daughter.

When he was told that his daughter was unable to attend the school the man stabbed several people including children.

The victims were rushed to a hospital. Unfortunately, three children did not make it and died on the way to the hospital.

After the violent attack, the angry father committed suicide by jumping off the school building.

Woman seen on video spraying security guard with mace before getting away with stolen clothes

(Scroll down for video) Police in Florida, have released a video of a crime in progress.

Now, they are looking to arrest a woman, who sprayed a guard with mace before getting away with the stolen items.

The surveillance video of the incident shows two women holding a pile of clothes while casually walking around a store with a cart.

The two then walk towards the exit and run out the door with the clothes in their hands. They ran towards a red getaway car in the parking lot.

One of the suspects, who police identified as 20-year-old Tonea Nicola Crawford, managed to get into the car. However, a security guard pursued them and grabbed the accomplice by the arm. The getaway driver began to pull away, but Crawford refused to leave her friend behind.
Instead, she got out of the car and pepper sprayed the security guard.

The woman got into the car and sped off with hundreds of dollars worth of clothes.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for Crawford, on charges of robbery with a weapon and grand theft.

Authorities did not identify the other woman. Police allege that Crawford is involved with a group of criminals, who target retail stores in central Florida.

Crawford was also accused of being involved in a robbery at a store in Lakeland last month, police said.

Woman arrested after her 10-year-old son did not remember the last time he took a bath

Authorities in Florida, took custody of five siblings after one child showed up at school with a bad body odor.

The teacher called police after the child told her that he did not remember the last time he took a bath.

Osceola County Police interviewed the boy and then went to speak to his mother. Betsy Velasquez invited them in and allowed the officers to look around.

Deputies found the house to be in a deplorable condition, with dog feces covering the floors, old dog food with mold and dirty clothes strewn all over the house.

Velasquez lives at the home with her five children, who have since been removed from her care.

Officers also found three dogs that appeared to be malnourished.

The Department of Children and Families took custody of the children and were subsequently placed with relatives.

Animal Control Officers took possession of the dogs.

Velasquez was arrested and charged with child neglect. She was booked into the Osceola County Jail.
